At the table. Coco kicked off by downing nearly two cups of liquor, but the girl’s face didn’t flush, her breath didn’t quicken. Julian saw how solidly she handled it and couldn’t let a young woman outdrink him, so he and Victor matched her with three cups each. Sebastian, still wounded, couldn’t drink and could only sit there sober. After several rounds and dishes, everyone felt a pleasant buzz. Julian smiled and asked, “Coco—what’s your full name?” “Isabella Crane.” Coco wiped a trace of grease from her red lips, crisp reply.
