The name they uncovered was Vincent Cross, a wealthy and influential figure who controlled a vast underground network. Vincent had been involved in the same criminal activities Marcus’s father, Victor, had once engaged in. But unlike Victor, Vincent wasn’t willing to go down quietly.

It became clear that Marcus had been Vincent’s pawn all along. Vincent blamed Davis for exposing corruption in Hollywood, which had indirectly hurt his operations. Then, a breakthrough came when a former associate of Vincent, a woman named Eva Rodriguez, reached out to Jack. Eva had once been close to Vincent but had fled his organization when she realized how far he was willing to go to protect his empire. She had information that could help take Vincent down, but in exchange, she needed protection.

Davis and Jack arranged a meeting with Eva, but the situation was more dangerous than they anticipated. Vincent’s men were everywhere, and Eva was terrified of being found. But she handed over crucial documents—financial records, emails, and recordings that implicated Vincent in multiple illegal activities.
