Chapter 41

The investigator left already and Alice decided to call Seb and tell him that she wanted to have a talk with him this evening.

"Hello? Alice?" Seb says on the other line.

"Seb, where are you now?"

"Oh I'm in the office,why do you need something?"

Alice sigh and answered, "actually, can I see you tonight? Maybe a dinner?"

On the other line, Seb was confused on why Alice wanted to see him.

"Um, that's okay but why though?"

"I'll tell you later and also you can bring Pia, cause I know you can't keep a secret to her, so bring her later evening, and I'll text you the location."

Seb agreed and both bid goodbyes to each other.

It was night time already and Alice was the first one to arrived in the location, she and Seb will meet.

"What does he take so long?" She whispers.

But the restaurant's door suddenly opened and Alice finally sigh in relief when she saw Seb and Pia entering the restaurant, she smiled to them and wave her hand.

She was about to stand up, when her eyes landed behind Pia.

Her smile immediately left her face and looked at Seb and Pia who was now infront of her.

"What is he doing here?" Alice asks while glaring at the both of them.

Pia akwardly chuckles and looked behind her to see Dawin also glaring at her and Seb.

Earlier,

After Seb hung up the call from Alice, he goes towards Dawin's office to give files but smiled instantly when he saw Pia in Dawin's couch while talking to Dawin.

"Babe?" Seb says.

Pia immediately looks towards the door and stands up.

"Babe! Your here!" Pia says while hugging Seb tightly.

Dawin rolled his eyes and said, "of course he will be here, obviously he is working here."

"Pia rolled her eyes and Seb remembered the files Dawin asks to him, so he gave it to Dawin immediately.

"Sir here's the file, and also the data, I included it there."

"Sir?" Pia confusingly asks.

"Yes sir, he's my boss, we agreed to each other that I will call him Sir in work and Dawin if we both are not in work."

"Well sounds like a plan."

Pia and Seb then goes out and Seb remembered Alice's word earlier.

"Babe?"

"Yes?"

"Alice wants to talk to me later, dinner time and she said it's okay to bring you also."

Pia agreed because she also wants to see Alice, when something pops on her mind.

"How about bringing Dawin with us?"

"Oh he's here because I bring him here cause I know this man will work over time again," Pia says while rolling her eyes.

Alice sigh and nodded, well she can't do anything as Dawin is already here, and it'll be a troublesome to drag him out from the restaurant.

The four of them sat on the chair, and Alice called the waiter.

"We will eat first before I'll tell you everything I wanted to say," Alice said seriously.

Dawin frowns but decided not to reply or else he will received a deathly glare from Alice.

The four of them ordered there foods and after waiting for 20 minutes, the waiter served them the dishes.

They started eating and the awkward silence was not helping at all.

"This is so awkward, what the heck?" Pia whispers to Seb, luckily the other two didn't heard it.

Seb nodded also agreeing to Pia.

Alice was just silent while Dawin decided to eat while scrolling on his phone.

After the four of them finished their food, Seb then gestured Alice to talk.

"Okay, I'll tell everything but don't speak while I'm speaking," Alice says.

Seb and Pia unconsciously gulps and Dawin just sigh, Alice can be sometimes scary though.

"Seb remember when we visited Singapore for an event, remember the girl that I was talking and also the same time I dropped the wine glass?"

Seb nods but didn't speak or else Alice will scold him.

"She said something to me, her name is Jane Ashley Castro, she is the daughter of the Castro enterprises."

Dawin and Seb's eyes widen from the information, how come they forgot the couple they saw in Singapore.

"She told me something that got me interested and immediately asked for her number which she gave to me.

She told me that she had an older brother but she didn't meet it once in her life, because her brother got missing when he was just 2 years old.

As I'm always curious on those things, I asks her the name of her brother.

Seb I was shocked but I maintain my posture that time.

She said her brother's name is Jake Sebastian Castro.

After we got back from Singapore, I decided to do something, and I started to investigate.

Because Seb I think it's you.

And earlier my private investigator visited me and gave me a picture.

Week earlier he went to your old orphanage and ask about you, the sister gave him your clothes and also told him how they decided to call you in the name Seb.

Seb, there is a handkerchief in your pocket you wore when you were 2 years old, the time the sisters found you outside the orphanage.

Sebastian Castro, that was the name written in the handkerchief.

And I decided to tell you everything because I'm planning to do something that your permission is needed."

Seb was shocked, how come the sisters didn't tell her about the handkerchief?

Pia was also shocked from the words Alice have just said and immediately side hug Seb.

While Dawin was shocked on how come Alice got to do this all thing without him knowing.

"So y-your saying I'm the missing son of the Castro enterprises?"

Alice nods and looked at Seb again.

"But I will also talk to them, they need to know this all also, so we can have a DNA test on you and your possible parents."

"But Alice why are you doing this all?" Seb asks confused but he was tearing up imagining him, finally with his real family.

"Because I treat you as my younger brother and when I got to know your childhood story, there was something inside me that urges me to help you and here we are."

Seb holds Alice hands and smiled, "thank you."

Dawin was watching the hands tangled with each other with his glaring eyes.

Pia saw it and pinch his thighs as the three of them was just sitting beside each other and Alice was infront of the three of them.

"Alice thank you for doing this all, for doing this for Seb," Pia said sincerely.

Alice nodded her head and smiled to the both of them, but when her eyes lands to Dawin who was using his phone, she then glared at him.

The two sigh, and wondering when will these married couple will solve everything between them.
