Chapter 25

When Alice left, Dawin suddenly remembered something.

"Wait?! She'll wear those?!"

Alice already left when Dawin went downstairs he sighs and decided to proceed in the kitchen to eat his breakfast.

He was eating peacefully when his phone suddenly vibrated.

Oliver sent a message.

"Bro, tell me when you got here in the office Me and Jin found something about Michael."

Dawin just send a like emoji, not bothering to reply as he was still eating.

After he was done, he first went to Brian rooms and he smiled softly when he saw Brian was still sleeping. Like really, Brian loves sleeping so much and Alice and Dawin doesn't have any heart to wake Brian up. He is still a baby and he needs to sleep more compared to the adults.

Dawin kissed Brian forehead and went out to his going to his car.

He drove away going to his company.

When he got there, Seb was already waiting for him at the lobby and greeted him good morning.

"Sir you have a meeting this 10 a.m and in lunch you will be having a lunch meeting with the Gonzalez enterprises.

And also sir," Seb hesitantly says.

Now Dawin looked at him as both we're still in the elevator and no other employees was with them at this moment.

"I-I, maybe can we talk after after your lunch meeting?"

"About what?"

"T-there's something I wanna asks."

Dawin nods, luckily in afternoon, Dawin's scheduled is clear and he will be only in his office, signing and reviewing files as usual.

When they got to the top floor,Dawin the went to his office while Seb in his own cabin.

Dawin was putting his coat in the stand when the door opens.

He sigh heavily when he saw the faces of his best friends.

"Morning!" Jin chirps while smiling. Dawin just nods while Oliver went to Dawin mini fridge and grab a cold water.

"So what info did you get?"

"Actually we didn't expect we'll discover something like this," Oliver said and now serious atmosphere was around the office.

"Dawin, Michael did something horrible in the past."

Jin was holding a file and gave it to Dawin.

"The women which is the reason Michael left his family was already dead long time ago, and she was killed by Michael himself. The authority knew about it but at that time Michael was the one who has the fortune of the mistress and he paid the authorities to shut their mouths about it and make the case puts to trash."

Dawin is now boiling with anger he grips the paper tightly and Jin grabs it in an instant as it was the only original file, and it states there what Michael really did.

"The mistress didn't have any family and Michael, before he killed the women, forge her to sign the contract which states her properties and all fortune will be transferred to Michael."

"I know this is shocking but there's more."

Oliver gave Dawin a pictures and Dawin's eyes widen when he saw it.

"Michael after he killed the his mistress started to join gangs and after a while he found a g**g that really trusted him and made him the boss's right hand. And he was actually still doing it now."

Dawin slams the table and sigh.

"Alice is meeting his father later."

"What?!" Jin and Oliver said at the same time.

"I'll let Alice see him but we need to go there also but we need to disguise, I don't want Alice to know about this for now, she will be stressed and--

Dawin stops when he saw Jin and Oliver is surpressing their laughs that was about to come out.

"You really love her no?"

Dawin glared at Jin.

"I don't love her and I'm doing it for Brian's sake, he's my son and Alice is his mother I want him not to worry about Alice and cry when something happens."

"Well if that's makes you sleep at night then Okay I guess?"

Dawin rolled his eyes and shooed them away from his office saying he have still many things to do.

Alice arrived in her agency and the staff greeted her, happy to see her after months.

Cassy saw her and hugged her tightly.

"Gosh girl I miss you."

Alice laughed and hugged Cassy back saying she miss her too and apologize for not texting her recently.

When they got to the boss cabin, the boss greeted them and gestured them to sit.

"Ac! Good that your back, your fans was ranting on social media how they miss you and wanted you to see in a new drama."

Alice smiled, "I miss them too, and especially I didn't get to attend the last month's award ceremony as you know, I got lost."

The boss laugh, Cassy too.

"Ac, this July, the fans will see you again in a new drama!" The boss said enthusiastically.

Alice widen her eyes and smiled.

"New drama?"

"Yes! It was all planned the role fitted you perfectly and the location of the set was still not announced maybe it'll be announced next month but for now, this will not be out in the media yet, but I just want to inform you that this will be a big project.

This drama was collaborated with an Singaporean entertainment, actually the one who made this drama, present it to them and they really loved it and they are willing to invest but in one condition.

They want you to lead this role and only you, no more other female artist."

Cassy was smiling at the whole time, grateful that her kid really was adored by many people.

Alice was smiling widely and bowed to the boss.

"Sir I promise you I'll do my best."

"Tsk, Alice I know you always do your best and I know this drama will be a big hit especially it was you who will lead it."

The boss said while smiled in satisfaction knowing Alice wanted this project too.

After a while of talking Alice and Cassy went to the company's studio as Alice will shoot an advertisement that will be out in this upcoming September.

Lunch time was already done and Seb and Dawin was now in the office, Dawin was typing on his laptop while Seb was standing nervously infront of him.

"Win."

Dawin instantly looked up to Seb when he heard what Seb have just called him.

And Dawin knows it is something personal as Dawin said to Seb before that when it is office related Seb will call him Sir while if it is something personal Seb will just call him Dawin or Win.

"So it is really important right?"

Seb nods and sighs.

"Win, I want to court Pia."

Dawin instantly pressed the laptop's shut down and stands up immediately.

"Come again?"

"Win I want to court Pia, if it's okay with you?"

Dawin suddenly smiled and walk near Seb.

"Of course it's okay! And it's my first time to meet a man who's asking me for Pia. But you will also need to asks mom and dad's permission, you know Pia is their only daughter."

Seb nodded instant but he lowered his head instantly.

"What's wrong?"

"What if your parents won't like me? Especially I'm just your secretary and I don't even have a family."

Dawin smiled and patted his shoulder.

"Mom and dad actually likes you, I told them about you about your life and all, and they really wanted to meet you."

Seb smiled widely and now to Dawin.

"Thank you, really, so much."

"It's nothing kid, and I also looked at you as my younger brother and K was honored that you asks me first, as Pia's older brother, even though I always tease that i***t. Pia is still my responsibility no matter what."

5 p.m

Alice was already done in her shoot 1 hour earlier and she is now on her own studio in her agency.

She was busy checking the upcoming schedules. And after that she also checked her social media as it was been a long time.

Especially Cassy told her to post something on her verified account so that People will be assured that she's Alive and Well.

When Cassy said that, she just rolled her eyes but she still agreed nonetheless as she also missed her fans.

After 2 hour Alice packed her things in her bag and went to the elevator going to the basement where parking lot is.

Cassy left a while ago, as her mother called her for something.

When Alice is finally inside her car, she starts the engine and drove away going to the restaurant his father said to meet him.

Dawin, Jin and Oliver and Oliver is now wearing casual clothes but the three of them are still in Dawin's office.

"Hey, bro, did Alice texted you the location?"

Dawin nods and as he was still busy fixing his clothes.

"Let's go, I know Alice arrived there already."

The three of them uses one car which belongs belongs to Dawin.

After 30 minutes the three of them arrived in a not so known restaurant, it was not expensive looking also, it was more like a local restaurant and where people didnch usually visits.

"This is odd? Her father is rich yet he still picked this restaurant," Jin murmurs but Dawin and Oliver still heard him and both also nodded their heads agreeing.

"Let's go," Dawin wear a blue cap, and a thick frame glasses that makes him looks like a professor, while Oliver was wearing a bucket hat and a headphone that was not connected to a gadget and a mask that makes him looks like a introvert guy.

And their is Jin, wearing a black shades even though it was dark night and a red fitted turtle neck sleeves and a fitted pants, he was also holding a bag that looks expensive.

When Dawin and Oliver saw his outfit earlier both face palmed realizing, his disguise outfit will obviously be different than others.

Dawin saw Alice's car already parked in the restaurant's parking area.

The trio entered the restaurant and that is when also, Jin, Oliver and Dawin press their individual's recording gadget.

Because if something happens atleast they will have an evidence.

They saw Alice and his father ordering something and when Oliver saw Alice's back was an available table, he dragged the other two there.

Both widen their eyes but Oliver shoo them.

Dawin and Oliver was in Alice back while Jin was infront of Dawin and Oliver.

"So Alice how are you? Sorry I texted you all of a sudden."

"No it's okay dad and I also wanted to see you, how are you?"

Michael sigh.

"Life was been hard to me this days."

Dawin in the back rolled his eyes while Oliver was ordering something along with Jin.

Before Alice could reply, the waiter went to them and served them the food they ordered, Alice thanked the waiter before he left.

"What's the matter dad?"

"Um, it's about my work, everything doesn't seems to go as I planned."

"What's your work by the way? I forgot to ask you this when the last time we met."

Michael was silent for a while and Alice who didn't grow as a fool, realize her father is thinking some lie.

"I sell, Car parts!you know small business." He said while looking like he have just said the right thing to cover up his lie.

Alice nods pretending to agree.

The trio who was listening to the conversation while talking sometimes so it'll make them really looks like hanging out, mentally rolled their eyes.

"b***h, car parts?! More like destroying cars!" Jin whispered yelled.

Oliver widen his eyes while Dawin was glaring at him, well who wouldn't be when his supposed to be whisper turn to a shouting.

Alice was about to eat when he heard it. She jolted and Michael instantly looked at her.

"What happened?" Michael asks.

Alice shook her head saying she bump her knee under the table.

"Alice I want to ask a favor from you."

The three on back when they heard it, they stop eating and waits for Michael to speak again.

"What favor?"

"Can I borrow some money," Michael said without any hesitation.

Alice was shock and Dawin curses Michael in his mind.

"Huh? But why though? And how much?"

"Say no Alice," Dawin murmurs at the back, he really thought no one heard him.

Without knowing a certain someone heard it.

"I need it for my business and the amount, 100 million."

Jin choke in his food and Oliver hurriedly gave him water.

Dawin was listening intently while Alice and Michael stopped when they heard the choke if Jin.

Alice was sure it was familiar but for now she was busy on processing the sentence her father have just said.

"Dad, do you think it's too much? Your business is just car parts and a hundred million?"

Michael frown and looked at Alice.

"Are you degrading my business just because your a famous celebrity?"

Alice was taken back by that and instantly shook her head.

Dawin was now mad and was ready to punch michael when Oliver held him tightly.

"No, no I'm sorry, It's not what I meant but I know it's too much, but perhaps you have a big company? But you said earlier a small business so a 100 million is really to much."

"Are you saying I'm lying?! Why can't you just let me borrow that amount, your rich right? Why can't you give it to me?!"

Alice was startled by her father's sudden outburst but she compose herself again.

"I'll let you borrow if you will tell me the real and exact reason why you needed that money as I know that it's not just about your business," Alice said while glaring a little.

"Ah so your glaring now? And I can't tell you, you don't need to know it, just give me the money, but don't expect you'll get it back instantly."

Jin scoffs and rolled his eyes.

Dawin was still mad but he was now relaxed compared earlier as he knows Alice knows how to fight back when the situation is like this.

"I can't let you borrow my money especially when your like this dad, and maybe you went to me again just because if this right?"

Her father glared at her, "so what? That's your only use, your rich now, why can't you let me borrow that goddamn money?!"

"Yeah, I really though you have change but still, money was always your first priority! You left us because mom was not that rich, and you go with your mistress who is rich but then," Alice suddenly laugh.

Michael shivered by her sudden laugh, including the trio in the back.

"Where's the money you got after you killed your mistress!"

Michael froze along side with Dawin, Oliver and Jin.

"W-what are you saying? I-I didn't kill yerin!"

Alice scoffs and looked at Michael.

"Did I say Yerin? When I'm implying to Cindy."

"You, Dad, or should I say Michael, you left us because of Yeri and Cindy. Cindy, she is a major stock holder of Gonzalez Enterprises before. The news of her sudden death was really questionable but then you forgot that Mom has a friend that works in the NBI, he said everything he discovered about you, but he can't do anything when the authorities closed the case just within one month,

Without finding the culprit and gave her the right justice but I don't know if she even deserves justice when she ruined a family.

You killed Cindy! And Yeri!"

Dawin and the other two was so shock, how come they didn't discover about Cindy.

What they found and discussed earlier was about Yerin's death, Dawin then realize, maybe that's why Yeri wanted to break up with Michael as she discovered that he has another relationship and it was Cindy.

"You made all of that!" His father angrily shouted.

"Yeri, you killed her because she discovered that you have a wife and another mistress, Yeri owns a successful clothing store but it suddenly closed when she died. You know why? Someone did it, he transferred all of Yerin's properties and money to himself and forge her to sign the contract!"

"H-how?" That was the only words, Michael blurted out.

"You don't know me dad, you don't know what I'm capable of."

And with that Alice stands up and without saying anything,she left the restaurant.

Dawin also stands up, along with the two. Oliver and Jin thought Dawin will go to the exit when he suddenly turned and walked near Michael.

"Who are you?" Michael said while breathing heavily as he can't believe his daughter knew about the crime he did years ago.

Before Michael could ask again, he receives a strong punch in his face, he fall from his chair and tried to stand up but he can't as his head was very dizzy from the punch he just received.

"Who the f**k are you!?" Michael shouts.

People was now taking a video of them but luckily all of there faces were covered except Michael.

"Me? Well I'm the one who'll make you realize that, you are just a fucker!"

Dawin then exits the restaurant followed by worried Oliver and Jin who was still shock from what happened.

Alice arrived in her home and tiredly walk inside and was greeted by the maids.

Her stress and tiredness vanished away when she saw Brian which was carried by his nanny.

"Mumma!"

"Baby!"

Alice instantly scoop Brian in her arms and showered him with kisses that makes Brian giggle loudly.

"Mumma, Dadda?"

"Oh, now that you have me, now you need your Dadda huh?" Alice said while hugging Brian tightly.

Even though Brian didn't understand what Alice said, he still nodded.

Alice was about to talk again when the Main door opened revealing Dawin who was still wearing the same outfit he wears in the restaurant.

"Dadda!"

Brian was now clapping his hands excitedly when he saw his Mumma and Dadda being with him again.

Alice gave Brian to Dawin and Dawin instantly kissed Brian's forehead.

"How are you Bub?"

Brian just giggle and Dawin smiled.

The three of them spent their time in the living room, mostly Brian who is busy blabbering while watching cartoons on the tv and Dawin who was holding him in his lap, and Alice who is busy in her thoughts.

"Win, what are you doing in the restaurant," Alice asks curiously.

Dawin widen his eyes and instantly looked at Alice.

"What?"

Alice scoffs.

"Duh, I know your sit is in my back, and oh let me guess, the 2 man that is with you is Jin and Oliver."

"H-how come?!"
