Chapter 48

It's now evening and people starts to arrive in the venue time to time, Dawin and the others didn't arrived yet and there is also media waiting outside for them, Dawin agreed to have them but they are not allowed to go inside cause he wants the party to be in peace.

Seb and Pia finally arrived first, and both arrived separately as both still didn't talk and media starts to take a picture for the both of them, Seb was trying his best to ignore the cameras but Pia was ignored him and smiled to the cameras around her.

When they got inside, Pia was walking ahead of Seb, Pia was not looking at her way cause she was busy admiring the designs when she accidentally almost trips in the cable infront of her.

But Seb was fast enough to hold her waist tightly and sigh, when he realize what he did.

"Don't want to create some scene, so look in your way stop doing unecessary stuff," Seb says and loossened his grip on Pia's waist before starting to walk ahead from her.

Pia scoffs and looked at Seb's direction.

"You must be embarrassed to have me huh?" She says and sigh frustatingly.

After almost all guest was finally inside the event hall, Dawin and Alice finally arrived and Alice asks Dawin's favor and said that Brian can maybe go with Jia, Alice is still not ready to introduce Brian to the public because she doesn't want Brian to experience being mobbed by media.

Dawin agreed because it was also for Brian's sake but he also felt bad for the child, but he needs to think practical, and Brian's safety and privacy will be always on his top priority.

The butler of the white car where Dawin and Alice used, opened the backseat and Dawin was the first one to went out from the car.

Camera instantly took many pictures of him but it was doubled when Alice came out also from the car, while holding Dawin's hand.

She smiled to the cameras, as same as Dawin, he decided to smile for this night because he knows, his usual poker face will not be necessary on this night, especially it is his birthday.

The two went inside and the guests and their family immediately stared at the both them while smiling, finally the birthday boy has finally arrived with his wife.

Dawin immediately holds Alice's hand which make her shock internally but she just keep it with in or else the people will ask her if something happened or not.

"Why are you holding my hands," she muttered to Dawin while still smiling.

Dawin chuckled and smirked a little to her.

"Can't I hold my wife's hand?"
