Chapter 38

Dawin and Seb arrived in the site and Dawin instantly closed his eyes when he heard the annoying voice.

"Mr. Marquez!"

Seb also groaned and patted Dawin's shoulder.

"Hope you'll be fine."

Cassy is happy that Jeremy decided to visit her and Alice, Alice is currently doing her scene, she was so into her role but Cassy can clearly see the face of Alice and she knows, Alice is bothered by something.

"What happened?" Jeremy asks, as he noticed the discomfort in Cassy's face.

"Your sister."

"Why what happened to her? But she seems okay though?"

"Alice is obviously bothered by something, her face was not the usual you know, like it was smiley, happy. I called her earlier but she only nodded her head, like she doesn't do that."

Jeremy sigh and looked at Alice who was busy saying her lines.

"She'll be okay, don't worry okay?" Jeremy says while hugging Cassy from behind."

"Mr. Marquez do you want something to drink?" The annoying daughter of Mr. Yu asks.

Unfortunately Mr.yu couldn't come with her daughter as he needed to go to the hospital as he was not feeling well for the time being.

"Miss, please, I'm here for work, I don't have time on doing unnecessary things," Dawin frustratedly says.

Seb was also not in the mood seeing the girl cause she was just so annoying and he wanted to tell this to Pia cause she will obviously do something about this annoying girl.

"But-"

Before the girl could continue her sentence, Dawin and Seb walked out.

"Dawin can we just go back to the office?" Seb asks.

"We can Seb but after this, we still need to check everything because I'm also investing our company's money on this Seb."

"Yeah, yeah great CEO but really after this, let's go back to the company, that annoying is getting in my nerves--

"Mr. Marquez!"

"What the f**k?" Dawin whispers.

"I was finding you over there and I couldn't find you, I just want to inform you that for the time being I will be presenting dad's company as you may know he is sick."

Dawin nods and goes inside the site.

"Oh, hello Mr. Marquez I thought you will visit us tomorrow," the engineer says.

Dawin smiled and shook his head, "yeah, but I will be having a meeting tomorrow so I changed my schedule, by the way, everything is going well here right?"

"Yes Mr. Marquez, many business men were supporting this upcoming new mall in Seoul and of course many people are also eager to have this new mall in the city."

"That's good, and also I was about to check the site but according to your words it's looks like, I won't do that anymore," Dawin says.

The engineer smiled and shook his head, "yeah you shouldn't sir because it'mm make you tired, you know, this mall is huge," the engineer jokes.

Dawin laugh and Seb just smile because the annoying girl is just beside him.

"Um, sir, someone is calling from your phone," Seb says not forgetting to say excuse.

Dawin nods and bids good bye to the engineer.

Dawin and Seb walked outside but unfortunately the girl was still following them.

Seb gave Dawin the phone as the one who called is an investor and he needed to clarify something up.

"Are you Dawin's secretary?" The annoying girl asks.

Seb rolled his eyes and looked at the girl.

"Isn't obvious? And please not Dawin, it's Mr. Marquez, are you both close?"

The girl scoffs and replied, "were not but someday we will and also I saw you rolling your eyes towards me, don't do that, you don't know me, I'm more higher than you."

Seb sarcastically laugh and stared at the girl.

"Girl, you higher than me? Did you noticed our height difference? I'm talker than you, and your height is just my shoulder length so please, think first before you speak."

The girl gasp and was about to reply back when Dawin came back while holding his phone.

"Mr. Marquez! I wanna talk about something with you," The girl says, ignoring Seb who was about to pick a fight with her.

"Please ms. Yu--

"Won't you listen to me? If you will do this then I will tell father that you are not treating me good!"

Dawin scoffs, "fine, what do you wanna say, say here, I'm not in the mood to walk again."

The girl sighs and looked at Dawin.

"You know I'm planning to have a son already and when I met you, boom! I realize you will be the perfect father for my son, so if you want , we can have a night full of-

"f**k off but b***h! And for your information, I have a wife already and also I have a son, so f**k off, and f**k yourself, cause nobody wanna f**k a s**t like you!" Dawin walked out angrily while the girl was stood there literally frozen.

Seb was also angry when he heard all of those words, when the girl was back from her senses she looked at Seb but Seb just glared at her.

"Your annoying and ambitious so get lost! b***h!" Seb also walked out and followed Dawin who was still walking towards their car.

The girl was really shocked that she also list her words.

"Did they just humiliated me?" She asks herself.

Dawin went inside the car, not forgetting to slam the door.

The driver got startled, at the same time Seb also went in, also slamming the door loudly.

"To the office," Dawin says coldly.

He was literally gonna punch that girl, son? Night? Perfect? Really? If killing is not a sin, then he already killed that girl earlier, she really knows how to ruin someone's day.

When Dawin arrive in the office, he instantly sits on the couch while rubbing his forehead.

Seb was also with him.

"Why can't we just kill her?" Seb suddenly asks.

"I almost did it Seb, and also, don't forget to call Mr. Yu and inform him everything his daughter said and also tell him that his daughter did nothing except annoying people."

"I will definitely do that, and i'll go back to my cabin."

Dawin nods and thanked Seb before he left.

It was now 5 p.m and Dawin was still busy reading documents and checking his emails from his laptop.

But he got startled a little when the door suddenly opened revealing Jin who was holding his bag.

"Oh, your here? I thought your busy," Dawin says.

"Yeah, but I got free time till tomorrow morning and I want to hangout with you, and also at the same time I wanna consult something to you."

"Your a doctor, why would you need a consultation to me?" Dawin says.

Jin rolled his eyes and sit in the chair infront of Dawin's work table.

"Not that kind of consultation i***t, it's about business so please let's be serious for once."

Dawin looked at him weirdly, " you? Talking about serious? Woah! Who are you? You are not my best friend?"

Jin just sigh, "when will you get done on this," he says while pointing his finger to the papers.

"I can continue this tomorrow, let's go to my house I wanna rest already," Dawin replied.

"Yeah, that's more better."

"Good work everyone!" The director shouted and everyone bowed to each other.

"Thank you!" Alice says to the staff and director, she then goes to her tent after.

"You'll go home already?" Cassy asks while walking towards Alice.

"Yeah, I'll go home now, Mira Calle me earlier and told me that Brian was finding me."

Cassy smiled and seat on the chair.

"Alice."

"Yeah?"

"Are you okay?"

Alice stopped her actions and looked at Cassy confusingly.

"Of course I am, why you ask that though?"

Cassy sigh and leaned on the chair.

"Well I noticed you earlier, and you seems off?"

Alice realize it and laughed a little.

"Yeah I got upset or more like bothered earlier, I saw my face in a broken mirror earlier and of course it bothered me in some ways.

You know people always says that if you look yourself in a broken mirror then something bad will happen, and that bothered me earlier but now, I brushed it off."

"Yeah that's more right, forget about it and never let it bother you again, nothing wrong will happen, everything will be fine."

"Yeah your right, so now I'll go home, bye!" Alice says while waving her hand towards Cassy.

Alice went inside her car and started the engine and drives off going home.

Dawin and Jin arrived in the house and Dawin told the maid to prepare for a dinner good for him and Jin and deliver it to the room cause they will discuss something.

The maid nodded her head and followed what Dawin said.

"You go to my room first, I'll check Brian first," Dawin said to Jin who nodded and went upstairs first.

Brian's room is in downstairs as Alice is scared that if he's room will be upstairs, he will possibly went out from his room and will go to the stairs which is dangerous for toddlers like him.

When Dawin entered Brian's room, he saw Brian playing in the floor with his nanny.

"Good evening sir."

Dawin nodded and went to Brian.

"Bub?"

Brian looked up and instantly smiled when he saw his Dadda.

He gets up and immediately raised his hand and Dawin immediately carried him.

"Bub, how's your day?"

"Good Dadda! Dadda were mumma?" Brian asks while his lips were pouting.

Dawin cooed and peppered Brian with kisses.

"She is still working bub, but don't worry mumma will get here later on okay?"

Brian nodded and wiggled from Dawin's hold so he can go back on building the blocks.

Dawin smiled and bid goodnight to Brian.

Dawin is now in his room with Jin who is busy watching a drama in the television.

"Win, I'm planning to buy stocks in the hospital I work at," Jin started.

But suddenly there is a knock on the door.

"Oh it must be the food," Jin says and stands up to get the food.

He grab it from the maid and thanked her before she left.

"So I was saying, I planning to buy a stocks and-

Jin was about to continue when he doesn't heard any sounds from Dawin.

He looked at Dawin and he was just staring at the tv.

"Hey bro, are you okay? There's something wrong right?"

Dawin nodded his head and sits on the couch.

"What happened?" Jin asks.

"There's this girl earlier from work, she is the daughter of my client, her father was sick so she goes to the site instead, she was so annoying! Before we actually met that time with his father.

She was just so annoying, cause she always do something and those were very obvious that she is seducing me!

Earlier she's in the site and and annoy me again.

But she said something that was the reason I bursted.

She said she wanted to have a son and when she found me she realize I'm a perfect match for her!

If not just because of her father, I wouldn't even acknowledge her! Like I don't care about her opinions, I don t care about her so called son!

And she's trying to be good to me like, I don't f*****g care, really! I just want her out of my life!-

But before Dawin could continue, both him and Jin heard a thud outside the door. Both instantly looked at the door and both widen their eyes when they saw Alice with her bag, who was now on the floor.

"Y-you?" Alice said while shuttering badly.

"Alice I-" before Dawin could complete his words, Alice immediately ran off to her room.

"What just happened?" Dawin asks himself but Jin was the opposite.

"Win! Follow Alice immediately, I think she misheard what you said, especially the son part!" Jin says while his face is full of distress.

Alice finally smiled when she arrived in the house, she parked her car first before entering the house.

"Good evening Ms. Alice," the maid says while bowing.

"Good evening too," Alice says while smiling.

"Is Dawin home?"

"Yes mam, he is currently in his room now with sir Jin."

"Oh okay thank you," Alice says while heading to the stairs.

She was about to passed in Dawin's room when she heard a loud talk.

"--father, I wouldn't even acknowledge her! Like I don't care about her opinions, I don t care about her so called son!

And she's trying to be good to me like, I don't f*****g care, really! I just want her out of my life!-

D-did she really heard it right?

Dawin wants her out of his life? Including her son, Brian?

She dropped her bag on the floor and immediately Dawin looked at her with wide eyes with Jin who was also shock.

"Y-you?" Alice said while shuttering badly.

She can't believe this! She really thought Dawin is now accepting her fully but this? This is too much to handle.

"Alice I-" before Dawin could complete his words, Alice immediately ran off to her room.

"What just happened?" Dawin asks himself but Jin was the opposite.

"Win! Follow Alice immediately, I think she misheard what you said, especially the son part!" Jin says while his face is full of distress.

Dawin finally understood everything and immediately ran as fast as he can going towards Alice room.

When Alice entered the room, she immediately went towards her closet and grab her luggage, she grab all of her clothes and put it in there.

"Alice?!" She heard Dawin says but her mind was just simply repeating the words Dawin said earlier.

She goes out from her closet and saw Dawin there.

"Alice please it's not what you think it is," Dawin says.

But Alice was not even listening to him.

"Mira! Mira!" Alice suddenly shouted. After some minutes Mira entered the room confusingly.

"Mam why did you call me?"

Alice was breathing heavily and spoke without even acknowledging Dawin's presence.

"Pack all Brian's things now!"

Mira was shock that she didn't reply.

"What are you even looking at!? Now go! Do what I said so!"

This is not Alice, Dawin thought.

"Alice why are you packing your things?! Why did you said that to mira--

"Shut up! I said shut up! You! Go out! Get lost!" Alice was frantically crying now.

Dawin stood there while staring at Alice with wide eyes.

"Please Alice don't do this! This is not you! What you heard earlier was not about you please!"

But Alice didn't heard those things as she was busy grabbing her things from the drawer.

"Get out!" She shouted.

When Alice noticed that Dawin was not moving, she immediately ran to him and pushed him towards the door.

"Do you have any ears?! I said get out!"

When Alice successfully pushed Dawin out of her room, Dawin got back from his senses and immediately ran going to his own room.

"What happened bro?" Jin asks.

"Jin, please! Do something! Alice is packing her things! S-she also ordered Brian's nanny to pack his things also."

"What?! Dawin she really misunderstood it! Dammit go to her! I'll follow you."

Dawin instantly nodded and went back to Alice's room again but unfortunately the door was lock.

Jin on the other hand dialed Oliver's number and when Oliver answered, Jin immediately told Dawin what happened and Oliver said he will go to Dawin and alice's house as fast as he can.

Jin also followed Dawin and saw him with a maid, the maid was looking for the door keys while Dawin was panicking.

The door suddenly opened revealing Alice who was so different.

Jin realize this whole thing is so f****d up. Alice was not her usual self, her eyes were blood shot red and her hair was tied messily.

"Get out of my way!" She shouted.

The maid immediately left realizing the situation.

"Please Alice! Don't do this, what you heard earlier was not true, please!"

But both Dawin and Jin froze when Alice did something.

She slapped Dawin hardly straight on his face.

"f**k off! You! I really thought you will forgive me! You! You don't want me?! You don't want Brian?! Then fine, we will both leave this f*****g house!

If I just got to know this is what you feel! Then I shouldn't have just come back to your life! I shouldn't have just leave you forever! So f**k off!"

Alice was sobbing hardly while grabbing her luggages.

Dawin and Jin was shocked, both didn't expect this will happen.

Dawin can't believe Alice will say those things, he was hurt, he was deeply hurt. How come this happened?

"What did you have just said?" Dawin says, more like a whisper but both Alice and Jin heard it loudly.

But Alice didn't stop and drag her things going upstairs.

Jin was now panicking, Alice should not said those words, that was painful, how come she said those things? Jin thought.

Dawin and Jin went downstairs but Dawin was not talking, he was rather emotionless and that's what scares Jin the most.

Both saw how Alice was bringing the luggage towards her car, both saw how Alice was carrying Brian and Mira was behind clueless to everything while holding Brian's luggage.

"Dawin stop them please!" Jin says while shaking Dawin.

But Dawin didn't even bulge, he was just staring at the door.

Jin was about to say something when both heard a car engine and the last thing they knew,

Alice drives off away.
