Chapter 36

Alice and Dawin was waiting for their order so Dawin decided to ask some questions to Alice.

"The shooting went good right?"

"Yeah, everything goes well except to the part that I got injured and --

"You got injured?! Where?!"

"Chilax, It's in my knees, it was a deep wound actually but luckily it healed faster than I expected."

"But why did you get injured?"

"Well I have my action scene in the road but I trip on a wood so this happened. But after my wound got healed we continue the shooting, and luckily we completed all the Spain's scenes and now we will continue our scene here in Seoul."

Dawin nodded, actually he was relief that nothing worse happened than that but he knows if he was there he will surely scold the staff for not checking the venue of the scene first.

"What are you thinking?" Alice asks.

"Nothing."

After some minutes the waiter arrived, serving their foods and the three of them started eating.

"When are you gonna start on your shooting again?"

"Maybe in the next 2 days, well I still don't know, the other staffs were still in Spain they still needed to do something, so me and Cassy decided to come back here in Seoul first."

After they were done eating, the three of them goes home, while Dawin goes to his company as he still needs to sign some documents.

Another day has come and Dawin was in his meeting room right now, he will be having a new client and they will talk about their matter now.

"Sir, Mr. Yu is here," Seb says informing Dawin for their arrival.

The door opened revealing mr.yu but Dawin frowns instantly when he saw a girl behind Mr. Yu.

"Good morning mr.marquez, finally you accepted our offer and here this is my secretary and behind me is my daughter."

Dawin just nod, "good morning also mr.yu."

Seb smiles akwardly cause it was obvious he ignored the secretary and Mr.yu's daughter.

"Let's take a sit," Seb says.

"Mr. Marquez hope you will not mind but I brought my daughter here cause I want her to learn about business and also on meetings."

"It's okay Mr. Yu, I understand and as long as the meeting will go smooth also."

The meeting has officially started, Dawin was serious in the meeting but anger was also with him, you know why?

Because instead of learning, the daughter of Mr. Yu seems not interested in learning rather she was busy trying to distract Dawin.

Dawin tries his best not to burst of anger because this new client and project is important and one mistake can ruin everything.

The girl keeps moving in her sit like she will make the pen accidentally fall so she will grab it from the floor and her cleavage will be seen but Dawin was not minding it.

Seb saw everything and sigh to himself.

Like why can't just other girls stop approaching Dawin and leave him by himself?

Seb knows Dawin is mad but he was obviously controlling it as Mr. Yu was just infront of him.

The meeting have ended and Dawin and Seb is now in Dawin's office.

"I saw it, are you still mad?" Seb asks.

"Yeah, hopefully in the next meeting with Mr. Yu, she will not come with him or else."

"Win, I'm not saying this as your assistant but as your friend, but please be careful, this was almost the same scenario in Singapore and I don't want to see you and Alice being in this state again."

Dawin sighs and plop his whole body in the couch.

"That won't happen again, it's just that, why can't they just leave us alone?"

A new day has come and now Dawin is currently eating breakfast in the kitchen, Alice left already because her shooting has already begun.

Brian also woke up early as Jia fetch him earlier because Jia promised Brian that they will go to the mall, you know like a grandma and grandson bonding.

Dawin was done on eating his breakfast and was about to leave when halts when he noticed a phone in the dining table.

"This is Alice's phone," he murmurs.

"Oh, sir Dawin I was about to call you and inform you that Ms. Alice left her phone and maybe you can give it to her?"

The maid says while holding a mop.

"Oh yes, I'll drop it to Alice's place," Dawin smiled and thanked the maid before he left the house and went to Alice's shooting place, luckily he knows it as Alice told him yesterday night.

"And cut! Okay! We'll continue the next scene later for now let's take a break for a while," the director says.

Alice sigh and also bowed to her co-artress who acted in the same scene as her.

"Alice can you take a picture and post it in your social media?" Cassy asks Alice, Alice was currently seating in her chair infront of the tent.

"Nah, I left it at home," Alice says and sips on her iced americano.

Cassy groaned and pinched Alice's waist.

"Ah! What's that for?"

"You coffee addict why did you forget your phone? What if someone calls you."

"Then he or she needs to call again later," Alice replied while smiling.

Cassy had enough and left Alice and went to Cafe that is just very near their shooting site.

Alice laugh while looking at the direction Cassy just left.

"Can you leave?!"

Alice instantly snaps her head in her right side when she heard the girl who have just shouted.

But her eyes darken when she realize that the girl was shouting on a grandpa, who was maybe in his 50's.

"Miss just a piece of bread," the grandpa says desperately.

Alice's heart immediately clenched hearing that, the grandpa is wearing a worn out clothes and he was also holding a bag, maybe where he puts his things.

Well the grandpa is asking for some food in a snacks truck. The girl was a staff working for the truck, this snacks truck are actually sponsored for this drama, so it gives free snacks to the employees and the actors and actresses.

She also noticed that the people started to gather there before she even got there.

On the other hand Dawin arrived there and he was also secretly eager to see the shooting venue of Alice's drama as he never visited it before.

He went out to his car and smiled a little when he saw Alice but he immediately frowns when he saw Alice's expression, she was looking on somewhere so Dawin followed her gaze.

He was confused at first on the commotion but he then realize it later on. He decided to stand there for a while and wait for Alice as he knows something is literally running on her mind.

Alice decided to stand up and went near them.

"What is happening here?" She asks.

The girl immediately beams seeing Alice but Alice was nowhere smiling.

The girl thought Alice also wants the grandpa away so she started talking.

"Miss AC, this old man wants some foods we'll I can't give him, this is for the staffs and the celebrities and tsk, looked at what he was wearing it's so dirty and it's so worn out if I will give him some he will come again here later and ask for more and I obviously don't want that, it's dirty."

The grandpa was obviously hurt by the words the girl spats.

Cassy went near them but Alice stopped her by raising her hands. She immediately followed her because she saw Alice's expression and she just prayed that Alice will spare the girl or else.

"Miss Alice I know you want him away, I will call the guards because this old man is poor and you don't want that-

The girl stopped talking and jolts when Alice spilled her Iced Americano in the girl's face.

Dawin who was watching everything smirks.

The people also started to video the situation and Cassy sigh, cause she knows Alice doesn't care about it or even her reputation.

"What the f**k did you have just said!?" Alice roars to the girl.

The others flinched but Cassy didn't, well she was just busy on sighing.

"W-what? Ms. AC what are you doing?"

The grandpa was in verge of crying, he regrets coming here and asks for food but who can blame him when he almost didn't eat for 2 days.

Seeing what Alice did makes him regret everything.

"Me?! What I'm doing, well I'm just trying to out some brain in your empty head! Grandpa was just asking for food but you?!

Are you the owner of this food truck huh?! If someone asks for food then give it to her or him! This food truck is for free so why are you selfish, you stupid brainless girl!"

The girl's eyes widen when she realize that the famous actress really just shout infront of her face.

"Mam, I-I apologize for what I did, I-I will leave now," Grandpa says while trying to leave but Alice holds his wrist.

The people's eyes widen when Alice touched the man.

"Miss AC? Why did you touch him? He's dirty!" The girl says, even though her face is still brown because of the iced americano Alice spilled, well she was still not done humiliating the poor grandpa.

"Who are you to dictate her actions?"

Everyone froze when they heard the voice.

Alice immediately looked behind her and saw Dawin while his hands are inside his pocket.

"Dawin what are you doing here?" Alice asks.

But Dawin didn't answer instead he also hold the other wrist if grandpa.

The girl's eyes comically widen.

"If I touch him also would you also scold me huh? Who are you? Seeing how you looks I guess you are just a low life person with a bad personality," Dawin says and looked at the grandpa and smiled a little.

The girl cried cause she was obviously hurt on Dawin and Alice's word, like really how come their words are so poisonous?

Another staff drag the crying girl away, even though the staff was mad at the girl as he also saw what she did but he still needs to drag her away because she has no fight against the powerful couple.

The people started to walk away, also happy that someone Teached that girl a good lesson.

"Grandpa are you okay?" Alice immediately asks.

"I'm sorry for what I did, I really thought it was free because I saw the others didn't give any money to that girl."

Alice sigh and smiled gently to him.

"Grandpa your right the foods there are all free do you want something there? I'll get it for you."

Dawin looked at Alice and smiled.

"Yeah grandpa, how about we go there and tell us what you wanted."

The grandpa was about to decline their offer but it was too late when Alice and Dawin both drag him going to the said truck.

Alice and Dawin goes inside the truck and smiled to the grandpa.

The others who saw it, widen their eyes.

"What are you doing mam and sir?" The grandpa asks obviously shock.

"We're going to serve you, so please tell us what you want."

The grandpa left no choice but to tell them what he wanted because he really can see the persistence in both eyes.

After they were done on making the foods they went out from the truck.

"Grandpa here sit with us, this is all what you order."

"Sir how about the scene we will shoot?" Cassy asks the director, both we're watching the three from afar.

"We will do it later when they are done for now what matters is grandpa got the food he wanted."

"Yeah your absolutely right."

The grandpa started eating and Dawin and Alice smiled looking at him, then Alice remember Dawin.

"What are you even doing here?" She asks Dawin.

"Well I saw your phone in the dining table at the house so I decided to drop it to you but thing happened so I'm here."

Alice rolled her eyes playfully and raise her palm.

Dawin looks confused at first but then he suddenly clap his own hands to Alice.

"What?" Alice laughs and looked at Dawin.

"i***t, I meant my phone, give it to me, I'm not asking for a high five."

Dawin's eyes widen and glared at Alice who was still chuckling loudly.

Dawin gave her the phone and Alice out it instantly on her pocket.

"Grandpa we're do you live?" Dawin asks.

The grandpa stops eating and looked at Dawin and smiled sadly.

"I'm living in the streets son."

Alice eyes widen same as Dawin.

"But how come? Don't you have a family?" Alice asks.

"I have but they left me all alone, more like abandoned me," grandpa says while smiling but Dawin and Alice both can literally see the sadness on his eyes.

Dawin sighs, "why would they do that to you?"

"I got no money son, everything was gone."

"Why grandpa what happened?"

The grandpa can see the sincerity in both eyes so he decided to tell them.

"10 years ago I worked in a famous company, I was the head director for the finance department, things were all great but one day, the company lost a big amount of money and same in the dramas you both see, I was blamed.

The truth was that the project director stole the money but no one believes me so I got fired immediately, luckily I didn't get arrested because the money was found a week later after the incident happened.

My family, well actually they only needed me for money so after all that happened they left me, I decided to work in a construction site but when the site was finished I didn't have any work to apply to because my name was banned from applying in any other companies.

I also discovered that the owner of the company that I worked before, discovered everything, except at the part that it was the project director who did it.

He tried to help me but he trusted the wrong person to help me because he ordered the project director who is the prime master for everything that happened."

Alice and Dawin were still shocked from the information grandpa gave to them.

"Grandpa what company by the way you worked at 10 years ago?" Alice asks cause maybe they can help grandpa because he didn't deserve this all suffering and for his family, well they should just get lost.

"It was a famous company actually, the CEO now is young but my boss before died already, I saw it in the newspaper, it was MQ Incorporation."
