But before Dawin could reply, his hold towards Alice loosen and at the same he turns unconscious.

"Dawin!"

Oliver sped up the speed, while Jin was silently gripping the sits because he doesn't like over speeding and he is sure when he will get down from the car, he will definitely puke.

Alice already called the hospital and after some minutes they arrived in the hospital, Oliver immediately went out from the car and goes to the back to open the door, Alice and Brian comes out first followed by Lucas who is still carrying Dawin.

"Nurse!" Alice was particularly shouting and the nurses was fast enough to put Dawin in a stretcher and immediately sent to the emergency room.

Jin went out a while ago from the car but he was still leaning on it, trying to remove the dizziness and the urge of puking.

He was convincing himself not to puke at this situation and should be inside and wait for Dawin.

When he got inside, he saw Alice leaning on to the wall while holding a sleeping Brian, Oliver and Lucas was busy calling their lived ones and informed them from what happened.

"Alice give me Brian, you need to sit first and take a deep breath," Jin says while opening his arms so Alice would give him Brian.

Alice got no choice but to agree, because her body was all aching from stress and especially now Dawin was still in the emergency room.

"J-jin Dawin will be fine right?"

"Yeah, he should be or else I would punch him for making us all worry," Jin said, trying to ease the situation a little but it didn't help at all.

A doctor went out from the emergency room, "Mr. Marquez a family?"

Lucas and Oliver heard it and went to the doctor.

Alice and Jin also walks towards them.

"Mr. Marquez, We need to do a surgery asap for your son, the bullet was almost near his heart, luckily it didn't damage any internal organs especially the heart, but your son was already moved to the operating room."

"Please do everything make my son safe please!" Lucas was now panting, especially when he heard from the doctor about Dawin's condition.

The doctor nods and left to go straightly to the operating room.

At the exact moment, the others arrive while Mae ran towards Lucas.

"How's my son?!" Mae was breathing heavily and Lucas hugged her tightly.

"The bullet almost hit his heart but luckily it didn't and now Dawin is in still in surgery."

"What!?" Pia shouted but Jia was rubbing her backs trying to comfort her, but it was also hard for herself especially knowing that his son in law is still in danger.

Jeremy called Seb, while the commotion was happening and on the other side he was shock on what he received. He told Jeremy that he will be there as fast as he can.

Pia was still panting from all the information she received when her attention went towards Alice who was just sitting at the chair.

She walks towards her and kneel infront of her.

"Alice?" But she got no response.

Pia sigh and hugs Alice. "Don't worry Dawin will be fine, he will be always be with us."

"It's my fault," Alice whispers but Pia heard it clearly.

She halts and looked at Alice, "no it's not, it was Michael's fault not yours, and will never be."

Alice looked at Pia, "no! It was my fault, if I didn't meet my father personally, if I just ignored the words he said in the hospital then this should not happen at all!"

Everyone jolts when they completely heard Alice's sentence.

"W-what?" Jia suddenly went towards Alice and holds her shoulder.

"Say that again?!" Alice was now trembling badly and Jeremy hurriedly grab his mother away from Alice.

"You met that Fucktard without telling us?!" Jia was now boiling, not because of Alice but because of Michael because he successfully ruin everything again.

"Alice!? You know what that fucker did to us, yet you met him again? Tell me! What did he said to you that you make a fool of yourself."

"Mom, I never believe him! No! I just want some explanations from him but I know I will never got the right answer!" Alice was still sobbing and Pia immediately hugged her.

The others sigh when Jeremy drag his mother outside to let her cool down.

"Alice remember it's not your fault," Mae suddenly said but she was still leaning on her husband.

Cassy and Lisa go home for a while to grab some clothes for Alice and Lucas as both clothes were soaked by Dawin's blood.

They also decided to buy foods when on the way going here.

After 1 hour the doctor goes out from the operating theatre and walks to them.

"Doc, how is my son?"

"He is out of danger Mr. And Mrs. Marquez and he will be transferred in VIP room now."

All of them sigh in relief and Alice, she felt something heavy was being lifted up from her shoulders, she cried and thanked the doctor.

"It's my job Ms. AC," the doctor says while using her screen name.

"You can now visit Mr.Marquez but please don't gather around him."

All of them nods and the doctor went away.

When they entered Dawin's room, they all sigh sadly but Alice was just staring at Dawin without saying anything. Jin was still carrying Brian and luckily he was still sleeping.

After talking for sometime, they decided to go home for a while and will be back early in the morning.

"I will stay," Alice said.

"Yeah, you should, Dawin will maybe wake up any time and he should have someone to take care of him," Alice just absentmindedly nodded and sat in the stool beside Dawin's bed.

Brian was brought by Mae and Lucas, saying they will take care of him for now.

When others left, Alice was still staring at Dawin.

"Why did you save me? The bullet should hit me, but why you?" Tear escaped from her eyes but she wiped it instantly.

"Win, please be fine okay? We still have thing to talk about."

Alice said realizing that both we're still not yet in good terms but recently we're acting civil, just for the sake of Brian.

"I'm sorry," she says and sobbed.

After a while of crying Alice didn't notice that she felt asleep while still holding Dawin's hand.

Dawin slowly opened his eyes but frowns when he was met by a white ceiling.

He thought his room's ceiling is not this white but he jolts when he felt a hand holding his own hand tightly.

He looked to his side and saw Alice sleeping. And that's when he realize everything that happened.

His eyes widen and immediately tried to sit up but he groaned in pain when he felt his back sting.

Alice on the other hand woke up by the action and her eyes widen when he saw Dawin was already awake.

"Win!"

"Water," he whispers, Alice immediately went to the table and grab a water bottle with a straw on it.

After Dawin was done sipping, Alice looked at him.

"Wait here win, I'll just call the doctor."

Dawin nods and went back to lie again in the bed.

After the doctor consulted him, Alice stayed by his side after contacting the others.

"Alice are you okay?" Dawin asks.

Alice looked at him confusedly.

"Why are you asking me that, your the one who got hurt when it should be me."

"What are you saying? Alice I save you and you should be thankful for that," but it was too late when Dawin realize what he said.

"S-so I should be thankful? Well thank you for saving me but I didn't ask for it," Alice said coldly.

"Alice I didn't mean that, I-

Yeah, you don't mean that, so now that you saved me it doesn't change the fact that everything happened because if me, and you know I realize that it should be me who got hurt so I can pay for everything that I've done."

"Alice! Remember your holding Brian at that time, do you also want him to get hurt just because of your stupid realizations?!"

Alice scoffs, "it's not about Brian win, I could protect him also, but I should be there, I was the reason why this all happened, because I was stupid meeting my father!"

"Alice please stop, this is not making sense at all everything already happened."

"Yeah, yeah and I should be thankful to you," she said sarcastically.

"Alice please stop."

"Yeah I will!" She walks towards the door and was about to open it when it opened suddenly revealing Pia and the others.

Alice sigh and still walked out.

"What happened?" Pia asks Dawin, but Dawin didn't said anything rather he lies on bed.

"Nothing."

It's been one week since the incident happened and Dawin and Alice still didn't talk with each other.

Michael was imprisoned in jail for a lifetime, as the case about Cindy and yerics death we're bought back to court again, and he was accused guilty for murder and frustrated murder.

Kiara was imprisoned for 10 years in jail, as she was discovered to be part of Michael's g**g and she manipulated many business man just for money, and of course teaming up with Michael for k********g Brian.

Dawin was now getting better and he's back was already healed, but he still needs to drink medicine for him to be fully healed.

And now Alice, Dawin, Cassy and Pia we're currently in Jeju, as the new branch of Quez wear was postponed because of the accident happened one month ago, Dawin decided to set the date again and now they're here.

People were shock to see Alice s***h AC with the CEO, not because they are a couple but because Alice was in a break in the industry and seeing her up close now was a great opportunity.

Others also took a picture of her, posting it in social media and netizens were amazed on how she looks glowing but all of them didn't know how Alice was internally not happy, her inner self was glooming.

After the opening of Quez wear, Dawin, Alice, Pia and Cassy went back to their rented house. The staff stayed in a hotel infront of a beach and it was also near the rented house.

It was a peaceful afternoon for Alice as she was still sleeping soundly because she got tired from the flight and when they reached in Jeju, they went straight to the mall where the new branch opened.

Alice was in deep slumber when the door suddenly opened and a small boy was walking silently while holding on to the wall for the support.

Brian was happy when he saw his mother sleeping peacefully in the bed while Pia smiled seeing Brian became giddy to walk faster going to Alice.

"Cute," she whispers.

Yes, the others from Seoul, decided to follow them here in Jeju as Mae decided that they will took a vacation because everything that happened now was stressful and they need a break from it.

Alice toss in her sleep when she opened her eyes instantly when she felt a small hands holding her thighs tightly.

"What the?!" She sits up immediately but she jolts when she saw Brian, staring at her with his doe eyes, when Brian saw his Mumma woke up, he clapped his hands forgetting that he can't stand completely by his feet.

He was about to fall on the floor when Alice fastly scoop him in her arms.

"They're here," Pia from the door say. "They decided we will be having a family time or more like a vacation," she continued.

Alice smiled, "it's good that they thought that, I guess mom was the mastermind?"

"Exactly! Dad told me, he was pestered by mom back in Seoul that they need to follow us here, by the way Jeremy and your mom couldn't come as there were some complication on your mom's business."

Alice nods understanding and thanked Pia.

"Mumma,here!" Brian blabbers.

"Yes baby, come on hug mumma, mumma misses you so much," Alice hugged Brian tightly and Brian who felt a tickle on his side giggled loudly.

Both were so immersed with each other that they didn't notice a pair of eyes staring at them fondly, Dawin was smiled a little, thanking Pia for not closing the door fully when she left a while ago.

It was night time already and now they are currently in the beach side, there are restaurant there and all of them decided to eat there as the atmosphere was really good and relaxing.

Alice and Dawin didn't sit together as Dawin sat on the opposite part of the table. The others noticed it but they didn't talk because they don't want to put their noses in the couple's business.
