Lily was always a believer. In college, she believed in hard work, in the power of dreams, and most importantly, in love. She was a vibrant young woman studying event management, full of life and ambition. Her world revolved around her studies, her dream of becoming a successful event planner. Sarah wasn't just a friend; she was like family. They had been inseparable since they were little girls, sharing secrets, dreams, and countless sleepovers. Sarah was a frequent visitor at Lily's family home, cherished and welcomed as if she were a second daughter. Lily's parents adored her, and her younger sibling looked up to her. The bond between Lily and Sarah was deep and seemingly unbreakable. Lily met Jake at a college party. He was a charming literature student who was immediately drawn to Lily's radiant beauty and vibrant personality. Lily, with her sparkling eyes and infectious laughter, was the life of the party, and Jake couldn't help but be captivated. This, however, sparked a hint of jealousy in Sarah, who was used to being the center of attention. Lily and Sarah had a tradition of 'Friday Movie Nights' where they would pick a movie, make popcorn, and talk about everything under the sun. One such night, a few weeks after Lily had started dating Jake, their conversation veered towards him. "Lily, Jake seems like a nice guy," Sarah began, her tone casual, "But don't you think things are moving a bit too fast?" Lily, surprised, looked at Sarah. "Fast? I don't think so, Sarah. We're just getting to know each other." Sarah shrugged, "Just be careful, okay? You know how these charming types can be." Lily laughed it off then, not realizing how prophetic Sarah's words would turn out to be
