Surprisingly, the best part of Scott's day now was when he was able to finally go home after a hard day of work and find Florence waiting for him.
He never pictured himself as the type of man who would be anxious to go back to his wife, but it turned out he was, and he was loving it.
Also, the prospect of the baby's arrival was something that was making him very excited for the future. He always loved kids, even though he wasn't often around them, but knowing it was his baby with Florence, it put things on a whole different level.
