“What the f*** was I even thinking?” he hushed huskily, his bright eyes fixed solidly on the beautiful moon. The chirping of the insects, the hooting of the owls and the mild breeze gave him solace—they reassured him things were going to be someday. That had been his initial believe when he found out he had a mate, but recently, he has begun to realize he was living in a fool's Paradise—An illusion which he forced himself to create.
