Chapter 5

2423 Words
We were talking for several more minutes, until I considered it enough temptation for my first day of vacation, which I didn't even want to think about. Because if this is how my first day is, I don't want to think about how the following ones will be, a complete and delicious torture. I said goodbye to him, making sure to leave everything I had used clean, and then with a soft and quick farewell I went to my room. There, it took me at least an hour to fall asleep. When I closed my eyes, all I could see was him, the exquisite Greek god who owns the bed I'm using and the wetness between my legs. I had to mentally hit myself to stop thinking about him and concentrate on what I needed in that moment, which was to sleep deeply and get rid of everything I was feeling. And it happened, after a few minutes I managed to fall asleep, resting my poor and restless mind. The day dawned and my desire to leave the room didn't. I really didn't want to leave here because I knew I would see him, or at least that's what I hoped. Although being such a busy businessman, maybe he wasn't even at home. With that thought in mind, I got up in a better mood and took a relaxing shower, which awakened my mind and body and drove away any negative thoughts from my head. I put on a flowery dress that doesn't cling too much to my body but is a bit short. It falls about three fingers below my butt, but since I have no intentions of going out and I plan to enjoy the pool all day, it doesn't bother me. I put on my swimsuit underneath, apply soft and light makeup, and sandals, and tie my hair up in a high ponytail, letting a few strands fall on my face. With a smile, as I see myself in the mirror one last time, I head downstairs, making sure to check on Kate first. I enter her room and see her deeply asleep. The hangover she must have or will have when she wakes up is going to be monumental, so with a playful smile on my face, I head down to the first floor. As soon as I set foot there, I saw several people in the place, all of them housekeeping staff. I greet everyone politely, I'm no better than them, so we all deserve a greeting, even if Kate doesn't understand that always. I walk through the large living room and go straight to the kitchen. I'm hungry and want to eat to start my day off right. "Good morning," I greet enthusiastically, but I freeze when I see Samuel sitting on the island, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. He stops what he is doing, lowers the newspaper, and gives me a glance that sends shivers down my spine. "Amanda, good morning," he says with that husky voice that provokes a thousand naughty thoughts in me every second, accompanied by a smile that makes me sigh. "Samuel," I barely respond. He smiles, nods his head, and then takes a sip from his cup and continues reading the news or whatever he's doing. With shaky legs and trying to react and remember what I came for, I take a single step before a kind lady stops me. "Miss, please have a seat, I'll take care of you," she says kindly. I blink in her direction and react instantly. "No, there's no need. I can serve myself, I have good hands," I say as a joke, and she smiles amused. "I know, and they're very pretty, but let me take care of you," she says affectionately, and I have no choice but to agree to her request. "Alright, but next time, I'll help you," I say, and she gives my left arm a gentle squeeze. I turned around and took a seat on the first available stool, checking my phone that buzzed with a message notification while my breakfast was being served. I can only hear the movements the kind lady makes as she prepares my food. "I don't bite, you know?" I hear Samuel's voice which completely electrifies me. I blink and lift my gaze in his direction, not understanding anything. "What?" I respond hesitantly to what he means. Although I realized his words, I wouldn't mind if he did. I gulp hard at the path my mind is taking once again. "I said I don't bite..." he says with a smile, pointing to the spot where I'm sitting, "you're on the other side of the table," he says, and I realize what he means. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't realize, I just...sat," I say, embarrassment evident on my face. I didn't do it on purpose, although I appreciate it, I don't think I can eat if he's too close. Samuel smiles, nods his head, and goes back to what he was doing. "Well, I hope to have your company closer tomorrow..." he says, and once again, I start fantasizing about his words. "...it will be nice to spend time with someone else," he says, and something stirs inside me. Because it reminds me of how big the place is and the lonely life he must lead. Anyone would feel lonely if they were inside these walls, and he is no exception, even if it's his decision to live here and in that way. She smiled at him sincerely and affectionately, because it was impossible for me to reject that invitation. - No problem, from tomorrow I'll be your fly in the soup for breakfast... - I blurt out and the three of us in the room laugh - ...and even if you bite, it wouldn't bother me - I say as I take a sip from my juice glass but stop halfway when I realize what I just said. I look straight ahead, avoiding looking in her direction, my eyes widen, my hands tremble, and I start to sweat and slowly swallow the liquid I managed to consume. The place falls silent, if someone were to drop a pin on the floor, it would be heard throughout the place due to the tension and discomfort that remained after my thoughtless words. Damn, me and my big mouth! - I... - I try to say something when Kate enters the kitchen, saving the moment and my slip-up. I exhale the breath I was holding and give a quick nod to Samuel, who is sitting in the other corner of the island and I see that he is staring at me intently with an expression I can't quite define and eyes completely darkened, clouded in something I prefer not to say. - Damn, I have a headache! - Kate says as she sits in the middle of the island. I divert my eyes from that tempting man and focus on eating, even though at this moment my appetite has decided to abandon me for being stupid. - Good party? - Samuel asks without taking his eyes off me, which makes me nervous. - Hmm - his sister mumbles and he shakes his head. - You know, not everything is parties and alcohol, Katherine - I scold her - I'm just trying to help you not ruin your life with these damn excesses - he says angrily and I take a sip from my glass. - As if you were never young, Samuel! I'm sure you were worse than me back then - his sister responds with a malicious smile. Samuel says nothing, he just remains silent and stands up. - I'll be in the office working in case you need anything. Amanda, Kate, enjoy your morning - he says and I see him disappear with that body that makes me have a thousand orgasms just by imagining it on top of mine. I let out a sigh when his exquisite presence is no longer felt and in its place, there is the bad energy of his sister, who I consider to be very rude to him. I know they have a 20-year age difference, but he is her older brother, she should show him respect, especially when he only wants to take care of her, but Kate fails to understand that. - He's a killjoy - my friend says, causing me to focus my gaze on her. - He's not, he just told you the truth - I defend him - you're taking the partying and alcohol consumption to an unhealthy extreme - I say, annoyed, because I have also repeated it to her several times. - Don't bother, you're both the same - she says, and I shake my head. - We're just looking out for you, Kate - I say, and she grumbles unsatisfied by both of our scolding, she angrily drops the napkin on the table and gets up in one jump. - I've lost my appetite, see you later - she says and leaves without another word. I see her leave the place more than upset, and I feel sorry for her, but I'll tell her what I think as many times as necessary, even if she doesn't like it. - The man is worried about her, her parents call him constantly for missy. You know she's taking it to an unhealthy extreme and they don't know what to do anymore - says the kind lady whose name I have no idea of. - I know, they call me constantly too, or I call them. I'm her friend, and I want to help her quit, but she doesn't listen to me, and to be honest, I doubt Samuel will achieve anything with Kate - I say, and she nods sadly - let's hope this summer serves some purpose - I say, and she smiles tenderly. - Let's hope so, and by the way, my name is Gloria - she says, and I appreciate that piece of information. - And I'm Amanda, nice to meet you - I return the greeting and introduction with a warm smile. The rest of the morning passes without any news, I didn't see Kate again, not even by mistake, she probably went back to her room to sleep. I am on the terrace, in front of the pool, reading a book that has me fully intrigued, it's an erotic book and I can't stop reading it, I'm already on the second volume. It's too addicting, making me fully engrossed. "Miguel pushes her back onto the hood. He opens her legs and goes down on her. Oh, my God! What am I witnessing? My boss, Miss Prissy, lets out a moan and I cover my eyes. But curiosity, curiosity, or whatever it is, gets the better of me and I uncover my eyes. Without batting an eyelid, I see how he, after licking his lips, separates a few centimeters from her and slips in a finger, then two, and, standing up, he grabs her dark hair and pulls on it while moving his fingers at a pace that, let's not deny it, would make anyone sigh.- "Yesssss!" I hear my boss moan. I have difficulty breathing. I'm about to faint. It's so hot!" - "Are we going to the pool?" Kate asks me, scaring me and making me scream, my heart racing. - "Damn it, Kate!" I scold her and she smiles. - "Are you still reading that? I thought you had finished or is it more than one book?" she asks and I nod. - "Yes, it's more than one volume, and yes, let's go to the pool, it's hot," I say, especially after reading that scene. I don't think I should read that book while I'm in this house with a man who magnifies my erotic and s****l fantasies a thousandfold. - "Can you help me with the sunscreen?" I say to Kate and she nods. I stand up, leaving all my things on the lounger, and approach the pool where she is so she can help me, but just as I'm about to take off my dress, I feel a presence that I'm getting used to too quickly entering the area behind me. - "Hot?" I don't know why all the words he utters provoke me in a way that is not normal, not healthy. I close my eyes and simply nod, stiff as a rock in the same position, not daring to even breathe. - "That's right, Amanda and I will enjoy the pool for the rest of the afternoon," his sister says as if it's nothing, and she jumps into the pool. - "Sounds good," Samuel says, sending shivers down my spine as I feel him take a step towards me. - "You could help her..." Kate says, and I widen my eyes, understanding what she's about to say, with my eyes, I try to tell her no, but she doesn't even notice... "she needs help applying sunscreen, could you help her, Sami?" Kate says, causing my chest to pound with fear, nerves, and excitement. My God! Why do these things happen to me? Please let him refuse... - "I don't mind," Samuel says, finishing his approach to me. I see his left arm wrap around my body and pull me closer to my stomach. My pulse is racing, my heart can't handle a thousand beats per second anymore, and my anxiety is overwhelming me. And let's not even mention the moisture between my legs; I'm about to turn into a damn puddle in his presence. I don't know what he's doing, and I don't know why he's so close to me, I feel his skin against mine, his warm breath on my neck, and to top it off, his hand touches mine softly, sending tingles all the way to my soul. I swallow hard at what's happening. He takes something from my hands, and I open my eyes, realizing I didn't even know they were closed, and I see that it's the damn sunscreen. But as soon as I open my eyes, I have Samuel's eyes in front of mine, looking at me with amusement, sensuality, and perversity. - "I need this," he says, pointing at the container, and I nod like a stupid fool, begging for the ground to swallow me up and spit me out anywhere but here. Lord, give me patience and strength to not fall into temptation. I beg you, please...
