AUTUMN'S POV
" Are you sure we can stay longer ? I know you have your own life and you're busy . " My mother said as we sat on the couch , talking . " I'm sure , there is more than enough space here . " I tell her and she smiles sweetly at me , " Okay thank you , but I promise we won't stay long . " She said and I shook my head as I smiled , " Really , don't worry about it . " I tell her and it is the truth , for the first time in my life , my mother is nice to me , she is showing me she cares and my father isn't an asshole , he's relaxed and not so scary anymore and it feels like I can finally breathe in the presence of my parents , it is a relief . " Well why don't we all go for dinner tonight ? " My mother says and I nod , " I'll ask Daniel and Amelia . " I say and take out my phone .
