|Graduation Day|                                                                                       •OAKLYNN• I can't believe I'm graduating today after all the homework and projects I had to do I was finally leaving that place for good. Seeing as I'm not going to college I'm going to focus solely on my business. "I'm so proud of you sweetheart". My dad said walking in my room. "Thank you". I said giving him a small smile. "I have your gift but I'm going to wait until after you get your diploma to give it to you". He said kissing my forehead and I nod. Picking up my phone I dial Kairos number and it rang three times before he picked up. "Yeah". He said looking down in the camera. "Sit your phone up so I can see you". I said rolling my eyes. "There ain't nothing to see". He said causing me to smack my lips. "Anyways who's coming to support you today". I ask as I grab my things to get ready and go. "My aunt was going to come but she has to do three important surgeries and my cousin I don't know what that nigga doing so I'm gone be by myself". He said shrugging as he buttoned up his shirt. "I'm coming to pick up you so we can ride together ". I said walking out of my room. "Nah it's cool I'll just walk I know you got family and s**t to celebrate today with". He said as I got in my car propping my phone up. "Like I said I'm on my way bye". I said before hanging up and pulling off.                                                                                    •KAIRO• Shaking my head I continue to get dressed so that I could be ready before she got here. "Knock knock". My aunt said before opening the door and peaking inside. "I just wanted to come in and give you your graduation gift since I won't be able to make it and I also wanted to let you know how proud I am of you and how proud your parents would be". She said bringing me into a hug. "Thanks". I said taking the box from her. Opening the box I see a set of car keys. "Appreciate it auntie". I said giving her a small smile. "It was no problem I love you but I have to go". She said giving me one last hug before walking out. After that I continued to get ready.Not even a few minutes there was a car horn blowing outside. Walking out of my room I walk out the front door and slide into the passenger side. "You look handsome". Oaklynn said looking me over before pulling off. "Thanks you look beautiful". I said and she blushed causing me to shake my head with a small laugh. The rest of the ride was quiet with her asking questions here and there. |2 hours later| They was finally making it to my name since I was the last one to be called. "Kairo Zale". They called and I stood up walking to the stage. A few people clapped and Oaklynn was screaming. Taking my diploma I stop for a picture before shaking other peoples hand. I look out in the crowd and I'm not gone lie it made me sad that my parents wasn't here. After we flipped our tassels they threw their caps in the air but I kept mines cause I paid to much money for this s**t. Walking out I start to walk off when I heard Oaklynn call my name. "My picture". She said causing me to smack my lips and walk over to her. "Dad can you take our picture". She asked handing her dad the phone. "How you doing son". He said giving me a head nod and I give him one back. I just stand there with a blank look on my face when Oaklynn wraps her arm around my waist. "Take another one dad and smile this time". She said and I did just to get the s**t over with. "We're going out to eat do you want to go with us". She asked looking up at me and I shook my head. "Nah I think I'm gone head home". I said looking off as I spoke. "Are you sure we would love for you to come right dad". She asked looking over at her dad and he nods. "I appreciate it but I'm gone pass I'll see you around". I said before walking off. |1 hour later| I finally made it to the cemetery where my parents were buried. Walking over to their grave I take a seat in between them and just look out at all the other gravestones. " I graduated like y'all wanted me to" I said with a sigh. "I don't really want to be here anymore there ain't s**t for me here I'd rather be with y'all". I said pulling the blade out of my pocket. I fiddled with it for a little bit. "I mean nobody's gone miss me anyway all these people talking like they really there for me when they can't even understand half the s**t that goes through my mind everyday so tell me who's really there for me". I spoke looking at their graves. "TELL ME WHO'S GONE SAVE ME IM TIRED OF FIGHTING, IM TIRED OF LIVING I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS s**t NO MORE".I yell patting my chest harshly as tears rolled down my cheeks. "I'M TIRED OF BEING THAT PERSON THAT EVERYBODY CAN TALK TO BUT AS SOON AS I NEED THEM THEY AIN'T TRYING TO HEAR IT, IM TIRED OF CRYING OUT FOR HELP AND NOBODY HEARING ME". I yell looking down at the blade. "I'm just tired man". I said lowly rolling up my sleeve. I slide the sharp edge over an old wound and watch as the blood dripped off my arm onto the ground. Leaning back on my moms gravestone I close my eyes. I just want somebody to hear me...
