Alice POV:
After King Conri left, we were at the living room, Susan was looking after the babies with Liam as me and my dad went to his office.
“Dad, can you tell me what’s happening to Henry?”
“Henry found his mate, she was a w***e, he caught her with intimacy with Lazarus and she still rejected him and he accepted it, both him and her got banished from our pack” he said it straight forward just like that and I felt myself falling on my butt in the chair.
I couldn’t believe it, the pain of rejection is even greater than the pain of cheating and still, he had to face with both of the pain at the same time, no wonder he wasn’t ok.
How could she do that?
Henry was a good man, he didn’t deserve it at all, he’s the kind of man who would treasure his woman and give her everything she want
