It turned out Martha would have to wait until Friday to see Landry’s place. He messaged Martha on Tuesday, the day after making dinner for Martha and Josie, to say that his next few evenings had filled up with student appointments. Impatient as she was, Martha knew it was best to wait until Friday anyway because it would not be a school night.
