He snorted and took a long sip from his beer. “Yeah, I imagine Sam is quite proficient at that.” I nodded, my mind drifting back to their first encounter. I thought it would be a disaster, because Sam couldn’t help resenting Trev. Yet five minutes later they were as close as Sam and I were.
