MARCO'S POV.
The guards helped pack up our luggages into the house when we got back to New York. It was the same house I had brought Lucia to three years ago, after taking her away from the Sullivan's mansion.
I must say, it pained me to watch them mistreating her, but I figured it was for the best. That made it a lot easier to completely cut her off from that family. I am very glad that she has completely gotten over that husband of hers. This is my chance to make a move, but I needed to wait a bit for the divorce to be done, then I can be sure that I have a chance.
