The line of invaders drew closer, and Arnim ducked as an arrow whizzed overhead. Aegryth was beside him, conserving her energy, watching with fascination as the Clans closed the range. The arrows stopped, and Arnim knew what it meant; the lines were about to clash. A strange whooshing noise alerted him moments before a streak of flame struck a man in front, causing the poor soul to call out in pain as he was engulfed in fire. The man fell to the ground, writhing in agony, and then went silent. "They have a Fire Mage," Aegryth cursed, "keep your eyes open." Arnim pushed forward to replace the burned man, readying his sword as he did so.
