A week soon became two, then three, and before they knew it a whole month had passed, but the camp was beginning to feel like home. Revi was kept busy funnelling people through the gate with the help of Hassus.
Near the end of the third week a group of Dwarves had arrived; a delegation from Stonecastle, including Begrin, an engineer. He took over the organization of the camp, planning out in great detail the future city. After a reconnoitre of the area, he declared there was sufficient stone in the region to construct a variety of buildings.
Anna had only sought to make a temporary camp, but the engineer's words had inspired her. Soon, she was obsessed with the details, listening intently as the Dwarf described a sewer system and fortifications.
