Third person POV: On the way to the club.
On the way to the club, AJ talks to Alpha Dex about the letter. " I think you should read the letter after this first meeting with Alpha Jack. It's from a person named Silver. This person is making claims about how the Alpha handles his pack, this could be the truth or lies. We don't know the intention of this person," explained AJ. "I think you might be right. I don't need anything clouding my head about his first visit with him. Do you know anything else about this Silver?" asked Dex. "I really couldn't find much, I think it's a woman. She works at the club we are going to. The man who owns the hotel didn't recall anyone by the name Silver. He did say the girl who dropped it off works at the club and is new, she might be there tonight. One other thing Alpha, I'm pretty sure this club is a strip club..."
If Veronica thought she was uncomfortable before, the drive to the club was something else entirely. Larry was angry at her for some unknown reason. He told Margret to get out of the car and go get the back door for them. She was in a regular uniform of black pants and a black shirt. While Margret got the door, Larry decided to punish V. "My oh my, the club will be fun tonight. You will behave or you'll get the cage. The cage is silver too, and I know how you try to get out of the silver as much as you can. You are trouble. But will make us a lot of money right? So I got you a little gift. Hold still or you know it will be so much worse," Larry said in an evil tone. He then gave V a few extra ear piercings in her cartilage with hoops. Veronica knew not to cry, not to fight. She just held her breath until they went inside.
Alpha Jack made one pit stop on the way to the club. He told his men that he'd met them there. He went to the cabin where Veronica lives just to check things out. He didn't like the smell of the place and decided not to get too close. He blamed the smell of the human who lived there but knew it would mask the smell of his daughter. It just seemed off to him for some reason but he shrugged it off. None of this was his true plan, but it all worked out in its own way. This is the closest he's been to her even but little does he know she isn't even home. The next thing he needed to worry about was how this would all go down with Alpha Dex. Alpha Jack really didn't plan anything out other than this. He wanted to feel Dex out and really see what he wanted. Heck, he knew what he wanted but the answer still would be no. When Alpha Jack got to the parking lot of the club, he smelt it again. It was like when he was back at the cabin. It was so weird, and he knew exactly where it was coming from. The large security man walking into the back door of the club with one of the dancers. He thought to himself, "Wow, she really must be protected from other humans if the human living there is a security guard and this crappy place."
