We were running on the smooth trail that weaved through out the schools woods, Though my breathe was haggard I was enjoying the View of everything, Including a very toned and tanned running partner of mine. Gosh I sound so thirsty around him. We had been running on the trail for what seemed like twenty minuets when he started slowing down. "Need to take a break?" I asked slowing down to match his pace. "There is a river right around this bend, the air will be cooler there." "Okay, Lead the way." I said. We rounded the bend sounds of the river grew louder as we moved through the bushes. As we got closer the air did grow much cooler. I stopped to take in the view. The sun danced across the water making it sparkle. It was a beautiful display of nature. He walked up to the riverside and sat down. He just added to the view, with the sweat on his skin shining in the sunlight. "Are you going to rest?" He asked without turning towards me. I waited a moment before I moved to take a seat next him. "So did you play ball in high school?" He didn't look over to me when he answered but I could see the start of a smile on his face. "Ya I played, I was a starter and the point guard." He looked as if he was remembering it fondly. I hadn't noticed how close we were setting till he turned towards me. " So is L. J your actual name or is it short for something? " His question threw me off, I guess he didn't want to share more of his ball playing memories. "Oh um... the J is actually for Jones. The L stands for Logan, My first name. " I suddenly felt nervous, He was my teacher, not a friend. "Logan huh?" His eyebrow went up slightly. My name sounded so foreign in his voice but it also sounded nice. I shook my head mentally. We sat there looking at each other I couldn't tell what he was thinking, Why was I worried about it anyway we were a student and teacher , I had to stop looking at him as potentially something more. His knee touched mine and sent me over the edge. I shot up now standing, his eyes followed me. "I guess we should head back." I went to step away but my foot slipped and I started to fall backwards. I hadn't seen him stand but I felt his hand around my elbow like that first time. Just when I thought I was good my foot slipped further off the bank and I pulled him down with me into the water. Luckily the river was deep enough that it didn't hurt too bad when I hit the river bed. I surfaced the water and stood up looking through my hair that had fallen from its bun. As I flipped my hair from my face I noticed that the river was deeper than initially I had thought with it coming up to my thighs. I heard water being disturbed as he stood up from where he had fallen in. The water stopped under his knees. I found myself looking at him, he looked even hotter wet. His clothes clung to his toned body outlining his muscles. His hair laid flat and run down into his eyes until he ran his hand up pushing it from his face . Laughter bubbled from his lips, as he looked over to me. I could see his eyes scan over my body just as mine had his. His brows c****d up as if with interest. I looked down to see what might have caught his attention when I was shockingly reminded that not only did I forget I was wearing a white T shirt and silk white track shorts, but I had also forgotten my sports bra and decided not to wear one to practice. I could see my boobs straight through my shirt. I looked up to meet his eyes that were no longer staring at my body. He moved a hand up behind his neck his muscles tugging at the movement. And it looked like a smile was forming. I crossed my arms over my chest. and looked away as the warmth traveled up my neck to my cheeks. I heard him walking through the water to me, and brought my face back towards him. Something was different in his eyes, they seemed darker than before, he stopped right in front of me, looking down at me. My breath hitched in my throat at the possibilities of what was to happen ran through my mind. He started to lean into me. My eyes immediately found his lips and I craned my neck back in anticipation, Just as he stepped back and removed his shirt. My eyes wandered down his chest taking in the chiseled features. "Here, Put this on, we have to get back." He said handing me his gray shirt. I put it on over mine and it hung down right below my shorts. I'm sure if it was dry it wouldn't have been this long. I saw Him climbing out of the river his back muscles rippling, he waited there to help pull me up. He held his hand out to me. I walked over and looked up at him as I took his hand, he pulled me up on the bank with him. He didn't let go of my hand at first and just looked at me for a moment, there was a look in his eyes that I wasn't sure of it caused my heart to race. Then it was gone, his face went back to the serious teacher I had meet outside of the locker room, he let go of my hand and started back through the bushed leading to the trail. I waited for a few moments before following him until I had my heart under control. Then we made our way back to the school.
