SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE FOURTEEN

Eddy and I made out and the surprising bit is that I wasn't feeling guilty about anything. See I'm the type of a person who act then deal with the consequences later. I wished it was Sean I did that with but he pushed my away. I know I walked out on him because of pride but I had gone back there to make things right between us but he wouldn't let me so I felt like if at all he was going to accuse me and get mad at me for something let it be fir Something i actually did.

Eddy: any regrets?

Me: no.

He hugged me and pulled me even closer.

Eddy: is it a bad time to talk about your friend?

Me: which one?

Eddy: Eva

Me: what about her?

Eddy: as I was talking to Leo earlier i realized she was eavesdropping so I wasn't sure of what to make out of it.

Me: why would she be eavesdropping?

Eddy: that's what I want to find out. She better not be a spy.

Me: she is not.

Eddy: I need to get going. Sorry for taking residency in your bed.

Me: what happened to your mum and why did you and Sean get in a fight?

Eddy: we couldn't agree on how to talk to mum. Sean was so mad and I think being so close to mum whatever she did hurt him most.

Me: what about you?

Eddy: i never let my emotions get in the way.i think I took after my dad.

Me: doesn't your mum's choice of life bother you especially now that she wants to be a governor?

Eddy: her life is entirely none of my business. The Anderson guy is the one I need to eliminate then everyone will get along peacefully.

Me: you will kill him?

Eddy: yes, i will kill him.

He got up and got dressed. The wound on the chest had not bled so I didn't change the bandage but made sure he took his painkillers.

Me: you know what happened last night doesn't change my relationship with Sean right?

He didn't respond to that but instead called Leo and asked him to meet him up at his place for briefing before they met the rest of the team.

Eddy was not even afraid to give such orders infront of me. He did not even care that i would call the police on him I mean the trust and confidence he had in me was wanting..

Malika went to see Roberts widow as she had known Robert since childhood. Robert had adopted a son that grew up with Malika his name was Terence. When Venessa told Malika about their plan that ended up getting Robert killed, she decided to finish off Eddy by setting him up as her aim was to revenge for lying to her about the money and playing her with venessa as well..

When she got to Robert's home there was a portrait of Robert hanged on the wall and he had this serious look on his face. Terrence had come back from the military camp to bury his father and after the burial he chose to stay for a few more weeks. Roberts wife Mary heard her come in and she quickly got out of her room.

Mary: Malika?

Malika: mama Natalie.

Mary: how sweet of you to visit.

Malika: yes I was in the neighborhood then i said i should check on you. I also came to see Terrence. I didn't get a chance to speak to him after the burial.

Mary: oooh, Terrence is around. He went to pick Natalie from school and he should be here any moment. How is your mum and everyone else?

Malika: they are good. Everyone is doing well. How are you holding up?

Mary: it's been a rough couple of weeks but I'm managing. Will you have anything, juice tea?

Malika: juice will do.

Just then Natalie runs in and when she sees Malika she hugged her and Malika talked to her for a few seconds before she went in to change.

Mary came back with tge glass of juice and put it on the table before Malika.

Malika: how comes Natalie is back from school so early?

Mary: they are on mid term break.

Malika smiled and it wasn't long before Terrence walked in. He saw Malika and he was so excited....

Terrence: whoooa, look who is here, hey girl?

Malika got up and hugged him then he sat next to her.

Terrence: you know I saw you the day of the funeral but alot was going on then. It's good to see you.

Malika: it's good to see you too.

Mary told Natalie to hurry up so that they could both go to the supermarket and a few minutes later she had changed and she came back to the living room.

Mary: I hope I will find you when I get back?

Malika: no mama, I've got some errands I need to run but i will come back to visit.

Mary: okay dear. See you then.

Adter Mary had left Terrence and Malika talked for a while then she raised the main issue why she had visited and started by asking Terrence if he could keep a secret..

Terrence: of cause I can. What's up?

Malika: i know who killed Robert.

Terrence: what?

Malika: a guy called Dru. Him and another lady called venessa who happened to be Roberts side dish conspired to kill him because they wanted to clear him off all his cash.

Terrence: no.. did they succeed?

Malika: I don't know but I need you to teach them a lesson. The Dru guy is a fraud and a thug too.

Terrence: how do you know that?

Malika: because he is my fiance but I want him punished for his crimes. Robert was a good man.

Terrence: are you sure about what you are saying?

Malika: yes.you are allowed to kill right?

Terrence: yes but not unnecessarily.

Malika: this one will be a necessary death.

Terence: i will see what I can do.

Malika: don't mention this to Mary, she has been through enough emotional trauma.

Terrence: I will handle it without Mary knowing a thing....

Eva called Dru to report her findings after evesdropping on Leo and Eddy. She told Dru about the plans to move and the go down they were working to get. She also mentioned Mike being held hostage and when she was dove Dru told her to dig for more.

Dru: what about venessa, anything about her?

Eva: i haven't seen her since yesterday.

Dru: I'm expecting a report by the end of the day so dig deeper. Find out where the go down is, when they are moving and when their next delivery is.

Eva: delivery?

Dru: yes. I need to strike back when i still have a chance. I might have not gotten what I wanted but I won't let them have it easy either.

Eva: have what easy?

Dru: do your work and let he do mine...

Niki got a call from Sadic asking if they could meet up for a cup of coffee and she agreed to meet him up in the evening. She put a few clothes on her bed trying to see which one she would wear for that coffee date. Soon after her mother walked into her room and when she saw her she got to the bathroom and run the shower.

Naomi: you know you cannot avoid me for that long right, we live in the same house.

Niki: what do you want?

Naomi: i want to ask for forgiveness.

Niki: you are literally living the example of expecting to be forgiven how many times did Jesus say we should forgive again? Look mum I don't have the energy to keep talking and forgiving, just combine all your sins, sleep around until you get satisfied then come and i will forgive you once and for all.

Naomi slapped her again for the second time after the slap she gave her the other time when she was talking to Sean.

Naomi: I know i have been off the rails but I'm still your mother. You cannot talk to me like that and if you feel like you are woman enough, pack your stuff out of my house.

Niki: whose mother? I don't even know you right now.

Naomi: from what I know, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Niki laughed sarcastically.

Niki: if you are referring to me sleeping around,you should know that I'm a socialite and I've owned that name and embraced who I am. I don't know about that tree but this apple don't just open it's legs for looser and low class men, everytime i do, I make alot of money out of it and every scandal I create out if it, makes me more famous and give me more clients. What about you? Stuck with the name MP and i doubt if the women whose sons you are sleeping around with will vote you in come next election.

Naomi was speechless after everything Niki had told her and from the look of things she had no regrets.

Naomi got into Niki's closest and took out a suitcase and put it on the bed. She took out Niki's clothes and threw them on the bed and started parking the clothes in her bag. Niki started shouting asking her to Lea her stuff and in the process Judith walked in and when Naomi saw her she broke down in tears as Niki went to the bathroom to take her shower.

Judith: mama Sean, what is it?

Naomi: Judith what did I do to these children if not give them a good life, this one talks to me as if I'm her age mate and Sean won't even talk to me.

Judith: calm down Naomi, you know they are only upset.

Naomi: when I was upset i would walk out and not talk back to my mother but this, she rains insults on ne day in day out aren't human the same people that makes mistake, don't we all that chance to change and can't she forgive after I have asked for forgiveness?

She said in between her sobs.

Naomi: Judith it's so painful that the child I have birth to would tell me all those things, where did i go wrong in their upbringing how did we even get here?

Judith: they are not kids anymore and maybe you should start treating them like adults.

Naomi: i know that Judith but at this rate,i wish I had given birth to stones. Maybe they would respect me more. Pack her stuff out of this house, I don't want to see her again.

Judith: Naomi please, throwing her out will not solve anything.

Naomi: but it will give me peace of mind. Pack everything of hers and throw them out, she can come back when she learns to Respect me.

Naomi got up and left Judith in Niki's room.

Eddy met up with his crew. Everyone was there including matasi who by now was playing for team Eddy and team Dru as well. He had no choice because he had to protect his friend but for how long before Eddy found out what was going on?

Eddy: ever since Robert died we have been on a go slow. The shipments have reduced and the supplies have gone down too. We have had our stuff hijacked and now I'm thinking continuing to stay here cold be a little more dangerous. We have been exposed to threats and we have had enemies from within and I hope we have no traitor left in here because trust me, it will not end well for you.

We are trying to rebuild our brand because when Robert died, he left a big gap. Let's work smart so that at the end of the day we all go home smiling. This is a dangerous life so if you are out there risking your life, make sure it's worth the risk.

Lastly we all know Dru, he was one if us but he turned on us, right now he is fighting us so hard and I'm giving this order, if you see Dru, shoot him on sight and Make sure he is dead, are we together?

All: yes sir!

Eddy: we will pack everything and make it ready for the move to the go down. We will also be making a delivery this evening and your guys are on that duty. Meeting adjourned so Soja and Matasi let's meet in my office..

The guys scattered to go about their businesses while Eddy and leo met matasi and Soja.

Eddy has them update them on the progress of the task they had been given and Soja reported about Venessa and Dru's meet up, he even had photos to show.

Soja: they were in that car for close to an hour but i couldn't tell what they were discussing about.

Leo: that's okay, we know there is nothing else they can discuss if not on how to bring us down and we need to work smart. Venessa clearly knows something we don't. She has been in his team and she even betrayed Robert for him. I think we keep following venessa and we might not get the conversation but we will follow their leads to know what they are upto.

Eddy: Soja, when Venessa and Dru meet up again, after the meeting don't follow Venessa but follow Dru instead. I'm certain that he is planning something but he is not working alone.

Soja: got it.

Eddy: you can leave and get down to work.

Soja left and Matasi was left behind looking into his computer.

Eddy: where are we with finding Dru, we need to know where he is operating from and strike before he does.

Matasi: Dru has not been using his phone and the last time I checked we traced his car to a dead end. I need a way I can locate him before I trace him to wherever he is operating from.

Leo: you have venessa's contacts night?

Matasi: yes.

Leo: I think we can get him through venessa. Track down venessa and follow her movements, I'm sure that at some point she will call or meet up with Dru and your works starts from there. Can you do that?

Matasi: yes I can.

Eddy: we didn't only need Dru, we need the location he is operating frim and you have got less than 24 hours to give us a location failure to which i will consider you compromised and i will put a bullet to your head and find another IT guy and this is not a threat.. you may leave.

Matasi got up, packed his laptop and walked out of the office.

Leo: you just threatened him.

Eddy: we need results Leo. I don't trust anyone a hundred percent after Mike's confession.

Leo: what, you think he is working with Dru?

Eddy: when we tell him to find someone he does it asap but when it comes to Dru, there us always a go slow somewhere with tons of excuses and I'm not taking any chances. I need you to oversee things around here as I need to step out for a few...

He said putting some bullets in his gun

Leo: where are you headed.

Eddy: I'm going to find Anderson and disconnect the connection between him and my mum for everyone's piece of mind.

Leo: I'm sorry about everything man,

Eddy: I'm not affected at all. You should save that for Sean. He is nursing a broken heart.

Leo: you need to allow yourself to feel you know. There is something inside that chest called a heart and it's work is to pump blood and generate those emotions.

Eddy: emotions are for the weak. You fall in love, you get screwed. You trust you end up broken you decide not to feel anything you become heartlessness so choosing not to care keeps me sane. You should try that sometimes.

He c****d his gun and tucked it behind his jeans.

Eddy: let me know when the guys are done packing.

Leo: sure. Let that heart beat man!

Eddy: yeah right, whatever!

He walked out and leo was left organizing payment for the team.

Matasi gave Dru a call on his way out of the hideout and asked to meet him up in half an hour at his office and Dru said he was just around so matasi was the one to tell him if he was already there.

Matasi drove like crazy and in fifteen minutes he was pulling over at the parking of his office and a few minutes later Dru showed up after matasi called him and let him know he was around.

Matasi: there is a problem

Dru: calm down!

Matasi: don't tell me to calm down. Eddy is on us. That guy is smart and he knows.

Dru: he knows what?

Matasi: that I'm in communication with you. Listen, i have been given less than twenty four hours to give them your location or he will kill me.

Dru: relax, I've got this.

Matasi: no you don't. Cut whatever tues yiu have with venessa for she will lead them o you. We Eddyy has someone following her. You need to leave this place before twenty four hours.

Dru: I'm not running. Eddy wants a fight, he will get one. I have a plan.

Matasi: we'll make sure it is good. They are making a delivery this evening so that means they will be less men. Whatever you are doing, give it your best shot.

Dru took his phone from the pocket and called sugu to organize his crew.

Dru: we attack this evening. Kill off anything that is breathing...

Sugu: I'm on it. Let's meet at the site.

Sean and other board members concluded that they would lay off Anderson off his duties for a while for investigations on claim of disappearance of 2.5 million and also for the embarrassment he caused the company.

Anderson left the meeting to pack his stuff out of the office while Sean headed to his office where he found Eddy waiting with his legs crossed on the table abd arms on tge chest.

Sean: Eddy

Eddy: what's up big brother, this office really suits you, i wonder why you want to leave it for the Anwar foundation.

Sean: what brings you here?

Eddy: i love how you get all bossy and stuff, come on I'm your brother. I was wondering if you and I can go out for s few drinks later tonight.

Sean laughed and took his seat.

Sean: so now what, you are feeling guilty for sleeping with my girlfriend?

Eddy: girlfriend? Are you sure you still have a girlfriend because I left an upset and broken girl at home after you sent her away last night.

Sean: at home huh, so you are roommates now?

Eddy put down his legs from the table and leaned in towards Sean.

Eddy: it doesn't matter what we are. I love her and even though I met her first she chose you, okay I don't know what she saw but if you don't treat her like the lady she is, i will show you how it's done.

He got up and smiled.

Eddy: i wasn't here for you. I came to see Anderson so that we can have a little friendly chat. I was kidding about the drinks, spending time with Rayna would be much fun.

He smiled as he walked out to catch up with Anderson whom he had seen put a box in his car boot. He winked at Esther the receptionist then went to the parking, got in his car and drove off. He decided to wait for Anderson by the road and when his car left the premises Eddy took his gun from behind and followed him..

Anderson did not realize he was being followed until they got to some junction and Eddy hit his car from behind. Anderson tried to speed off but Eddy hit his car from behind again then shot his tire and quickly got out of the car and before anyone noticed what was going on, he opened the door to Anderson's car, pulled him out and took him to his car then drove off in a rush. Anderson tried to shout for help but Eddy knocked him on the head and he passed out..

After driving for a while Eddy pulled over by the side of the road and woke up Anderson.

Eddy: rise and shine sleep head..

When Anderson woke up there was a gun to his face.

Eddy: you have five minutes to make confessions and say a prayer for your sinful soul. Your five minutes have started.

He said looking at his expensive watch.

Anderson: what do you want from me, everything I did I did because your mother asked.

Eddy: and do you know that act has torn my family apart, what did she promise you?

He choose to remain silent so Eddy pointed a gun under his chin.

Eddy: I don't care about your relationship with my mother but I know everyone who risks something is working an angle, what's your angle?

Anderson: I've never had anything to take risks for.

Eddy: not even your image or job being at stake?

He didn't respond to that.

Eddy: see I'm not always a very patient guy but because I actually like your guts, I will make you a deal. Tell me your angle and I will let you walk free. If I detect a lie in any of your sentence and you will not live to tell what i will do to you and you now have three and a half minutes.

Anderson: its not me. It's someone else. He wants your mother bankrupt and your entire family down. He will use all means possible to take back everything he claims is his.

Eddy: what man are you talking about?

Anderson: I've never seen his face. He only gives me orders.

Eddy: what were your orders concerning my mother?

Anderson: he wanted me to get all her bank details and he would figure of a way to wire the money into his account, give me my cut and we go our separate ways.

Eddy: how did you meet this guy?

Anderson: he had me kidn*pped one of the days as I left my house for the office. He threatened to set me up for theft and make me loose my job and get locked up. I had to comply.

Eddy: you know Mike?

Anderson: yes, we used to work for the same guy but he just went missing.

Eddy: if I let you go, will guy you go back to working for him?

Anderson: no.

Eddy: and my mother?

Anderson: i will cut ties with her completely.

Eddy: i don't trust you.

Anderson reached for his coat and pulled out a flash disks and showed it to him.

Anderson: when onjijo realized his life was in danger he gave me this and I don't know why he thought you were after him. This has the footage of you killing the minister and I'm handing it over to you as a way of calling truce. You can now trust me.

Eddy: how many more are left if these?

Anderson: just one more. He made two copies and gave each to me and a guy called sugu. The guy who is second in command. I think he took over after Johansen died.

Eddy: wait, I'm abit confused. You worked for Johansen?

Anderson: yes, months before I got the job at Linda Jamii. When the guy grabbed me, he asked home to stop working for Johansen instead but I still had my way of keeping in touch until he died.

Eddy: that means you know a guy called Dru.

Anderson: yes, I saw him a few times talking to Johansen but I didn't know what deals they had.

Eddy: how do I find this sugu guy?

Anderson: if he still works for Johansen you will find them at their hide out. You cant go there alone. You will need a strong backup.

Eddy put the gun away from his face and got a small notebook then asked him to write down the address of the hideout and he did.

Eddy: see the thing is I had intended to kill you after telling me all this but I will keep my end of the bargain. If I come across the smell of that cologne I will hunt you down. In short on trying to ask you to leave town.

Anderson: thank you.

Eddy: get out of my car.

Anderson got out of his car and he drove off....
