SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE SEVENTEEN

While Eddy was driving back home he got a call from soja Soja confirming that he had parked outside the house where venessa was murdered but after the police carried her body Dru didn't show up.

Eddy: that's strange. Unless he hasn't heard of Venessa's death.

Odhis: the news has been all over the Tv unless he is not in town or he is in hiding.

Eddy: well let's wait for him to react to venessa's death because I'm certain he will. Meanwhile get some rest for we have a long day tomorrow.

Odhis: alright..

Terrence could not rest easy after everything Dru had told him that went contrary to what Malika had told him. He even denied knowing Malika so who between them was really telling the truth?.

He felt the need to figure that out so he started his investigations by asking a friend he knew that worked in the government to help him with everything he knew about the Anwar family. The friend couldn't help much since he had no access to those information but he referred him to someone who could help. His was George.

Terrence explained what he wanted and the guy asked him to give him a day to find out all the information he needed about the Anwar family and while on it, Terrence started looking into Malika. The fact that they had been friends since childhood did not mean he really knew her.

Terrence heard a knock on his bedroom door and after asking whoever was knocking to come in Mary did with a glass of milk in her hand.

Mary: you didn't come down for dinner is everything okay?

Terrence: yes man just that I've been a bit busy. I'm working on a case before I get to leave.

She put the glass of milk on the table and sat beside him.

Terrence: you are never going to stop this habit of giving me milk before bed anytime soon are you?

Mary: no, it will help you have a good rest besides I'm your mother.

Terrence: thank you for everything. Do you think she ever regrets leaving me at a children's home?

Mary: yes. There is no sane mother who wouldn't regret giving away their baby but I'm sure she had a good reason for it.

Terrence: I don't know where I would be now if both you and Dad never adopted me.

Mary: after the doctor said we couldn't have children the pressure from Robert's side was too much so I had to take pregnancy and God brought you just in time. You were the most adorable baby we could ever ask for. It doesn't matter why your mum put you up for adoption Terrence, you are forever going to be my baby boy.

He smiled and hugged her then broke free from the hug almost immediately.

Mary: so, Malika was here, you really looked excited to see her.

Terrence: yes, it's been a while. I had missed her.

Mary: mmh, okay... Missing her is a good start.

Terrence: come on mum, Malika is just a friend.

She smiled and got up.

Mary: I'm sleepy so i will go to bed. Just so you know, no one always openly admits they are liking someone. They all say she is just a friend but later the truth comes out anyway. Goodnight my baby.

Terrence: goodnight mum..

The following morning was on a Saturday so Sean woke up early to go meet up his mother and some of the donors that had decided to support the Sean Anwar foundation despite many of them backing out after the scandles that had befell the family severally.

Both him and his mum were early and he was a bit nervous that they guys would change their mind and not show up at all.

Sean sat across him mum and even though they didn't say hi to each other after the confrontation Naomi couldn't stand Sean being mad at him. This was the longest time he had not spoken to her because none of their arguments lasted that long.

Naomi: are you nervous?

Sean looked up and noted then after staring at her for sometime he got back to checking the files.

Naomi: are you still mad at me?

Sean did not respond and minutes later the guys they had been waiting for walked in so Sean and his mum got up, said hello and introduction took place before the meeting began.

The donors asked alot of questions that most of them Sean and his mum were able to answer and after an hour or so tge meeting was done and Sean had a bright smile in his face as he saw them off.

He got back a few seconds later to collect his stuff but stoped abruptly and looked at his mum who had her eyes fixed on him the entire time.

Naomi: Anderson has gone missing all over sudden.

Sean: and how is that any of my concerns?

Naomi: I had about the fight at the office.

Sean: that was like weeks ago.

Naomi: do you know where he is because I badly know you wanted him out of the company.

Sean: what are you insinuating?

Naomi: I'm just asking a question.

Sean: then ask a direct question abd why are we still talking about Anderson anyway?

Naomi: I'm just concerned, he was my employee.

Sean: and your lover too.

Naomi: stop it Sean.

Sean: why, is there anything that I have said that is not true?

Naomi: please sit down

He thought for a while before sitting and Naomi took a deep breath.

Naomi: a day to your delivery at the hospital I slid and fell rolling down the stairs and i was unconscious when Judith found me and had me rushed to the hospital. I was not badly hurt but I was very afraid that i was going to loose you. The doctor said the fall was very bad and they didn't know if you were still alive inside my tummy or not so as weak and scared as I was I asked all the doctors to leave me for a while and i remember crying to God asking him to allow me to see my baby boy. I told God I needed you to be alive because I wanted to hold the tiny you in my arms and kiss your little head then watch you grow into a fine young man that you are today. You were my little miracle Sean because God answered my prayer. I gave birth to my baby healthy and you have grown up to be an amazing man. The attachment I have towards you is special compared to your siblings because you could have killed me when I was in that labour ward pushing a child that i did not know if was dead or alive.

When you are mad at me, it hurts twice as much. I can take the resentment from Eddy and Niki but not you Sean. I'm sorry for everything I have put you guys through I'm im trying to work on being a good mum.

Sean: by throwing Niki out, ..yeah she told me.

Naomi: Niki needs to learn a few lessons. I didn't throw her out because I hate her Sean she is my baby too, but when two women can't live under the same roof peacefully, one has to leave room for the other. She will be fine.

Sean: I didn't do anything to Anderson abd I've not seen him since he was told to leave office. I was mad at you but we have had this conversation so many times. You keep saying you are changing but we end up right where we started.

Naomi: I'm sorry, this time I'm serious. I will stop. I want to have a good relationship wuth ny children and I want to make my home too so i promise to do whatever it takes Sean, just give me another chance.

Sean: fine. You screw up one more time and we are done.

Naomi: okay... Can I get a hug?

Sean got up and hugged her then they left together having settled everything that had gone wrong.

Eddy and Leo went looking for Dru where Anderson said he would find both him and sugu. They both had fully loaded guns and had decided to leave Mike and odhis behind because they didn't want to loose another member of the team.

Eddy was on the wheel and was driving like crazy and because Leo saw death coming, he asked him to stop the car and let him drive instead and Eddy did as leo had asked..

Leo: you you let the Anderson guy go huh?

Eddy: shocking right?

Leo: knowing you and what you are capable of doing, yes it was..

Eddy: I let him go because I didn't want to be in another scandle because my family is really famous for those. When I grabbed Anderson people saw me and if something happened to him, i could have gotten arrested and I can't ket that happen before I know who the mystery guy is and why he is after my family.

Leo: well, atleast there you thought. That was a smart move. I wonder who in their right mind would work for someone they can't see.

Eddy: it happens. If you are threatened by Something that means so much to you, you can do anything.

Leo: speaking of doing anything, so what's the deal between you and Rayna. Are you guys seeing each other, i mean you spend so much time in her house than you do in yours.

Eddy smiled briefly then looked outside the window.

Eddy: there is something about her i just can't shake off. I know I want to be around her all the time and I can't stand the thoughts of her being with another man. It's all twisted.

Leo: she has a boyfriend?

Eddy: my brother Sean is her boyfriend. I'm in love with my brothers girl.

Leo: oh! oh! Red flag bro. That's a no go zone.

Eddy: I know that but despite all that, everytime I talk to her I just feel like grabbing her and making love to her but on second thoughts I know i cannot do that to Sean. I'm actually so jealous of him.

Leo: why, because of a girl?

Eddy: she's not just any other girl. If only I had made the moves when i first took her on that crazy spin, maybe she would be mine as we speak.

Leo: what stopped you?. .

Eddy did not answer that as they had gotten to their destination and leo stopped abruptly when they saw a body lying near the gate. Eddy got off and walked to where the body was followed almost immediately by Leo and when they saw who it was they looked at each other a bit shocked.

Leo: Dru?

Eddy: looks like we are not the only one that wanted him dead.

Leo: no, like seriously Dru is dead?

Leo asked not believing his eyes so he pushed him with his leg even though the head had a big bullet hole.

Eddy: I think our work here is done, i wonder who he went pissing off this time round.

Eddy said getting into the compound and meeting a dead guards body and after walking a short distance he discovered two more.

Eddy: I don't know who these guys are but I think there is no life that was left here. Half of our problem is now solved. Dru is deas baby!

They walked back into there car and drove away before someone spotted them there.

Eddy: that night Rayna almost got r***d and i didn't know her at all thought I couldn't keep my eyes off her at the party. I was just being sensitive to the situation then of all the guys she had to end up with, it had to be my brother.

Leo: so what's the plan?

Eddy: I don't have a plan.

Leo: you are a good man Eddy.

Eddy: yeah and being good sucks...

Eddy and Leo decided to go and meet the owner of the go down but when they got there the place was locked and when they spoke to the guard, the guard told them that the place had been bought by someone else.

Eddy: what do you mean, I was here the other day.. don't you remember?

Guard: I do know you sir but I'm just telling you what I was told.

Eddy called the owner of the go down immediately and the guy picked his call.

Eddy: kush, what is this I'm hearing?

Kush: im sorry man, I sold the go down yesterday to a more willing buyer.

Eddy: what the hell do you mean by that, we agreed on 25 million and I'm here to transfer the money in your account.

Kush: the guy was offering 30 million and he was ready with cash. Sorry man I'm a business man and i work with what is favourable.

Eddy hanged up, got in the car and waited for leo to get in before he drove off.

Three months later.

The relationship between me and Sean had gotten stronger and despite asking me severally to go meet his family for dinner i kept dodging because I was not ready to sit across Eddy and Sean at the dining table. Sean and I had been working on his Sean Anwar foundation as I helped him put a few things in order. We travelled out and about together, had romantic get aways but even though sean and i were at a good place, Eddy just couldn't keep off. He never stopped coming to my place and I was like he diary. I was the handler of all his problems and even though sean had gotten used to the idea that we were friends and he couldn't do much about it, Eddy and i at times found ourselves in awkward situations where we would end up kissing and making out not because I was trying to hurt sean but because the bond between Eddy and I had gotten so strong that we just couldn't keep off each other.

I know perfectly well that I was doing something wrong but when I was with either of them it felt right. I loved then both. Sean was sweet, caring and had my best interests at heart he kept me occupied and gave me a job at the sean Anwar foundation. I was running the organization as he ran the insurance company. He took me out showed me the world and rocked my s*x life and in just three months my life has changed drastically. Eddy on the other side was tough but at the same time very fragile. When out there he was so brave and strong but when things went wrong he came and broke down in my arms and I had to be there for him. He knew my stand about us but that didn't stop him from telling me he loved me and that he would wait until the time was right.. Eddy challenged me and even though he was into guns and the dangerous way of life, he was very smart. He helped me alot in decision making regarding the foundation and all his ideas worked perfectly and the entire family would be impressed with the outcome thinking it's all me but he never wanted to take credit for anything he helped me do.when with him I felt secure and even though I never told Sean, Eddy and I made up on several occasions and the dangerous part about it is that there was bo guilt or regrets.

Is it possible to love two people so much at the same time, was I being unreasonable I mean was I fooling myself because what i knew is tgat i never wanted to loose either of them for any reason. When I was Eddy he brought a wild side of me that I never new existed. He would teach me crazy stuff like how to handle guns and how to drive dangerously when getting away from crime scenes, we would go for awkward road trips and shout our problems away and i had fun. With Sean we would have pillow fights, go out on dates, play games take showers together and I had fun too and all that was just so damn confusing...

After Dru died everything kind of died down. Sadic was still working his way into the Anwar family and even though the magazine with Niki Anwar was out and he lauched his magazine he didn't kill Niki like he had planned. He decided to use her and get close to the family first. Terrence stopped his investigations on Eddy for a while after Mary fell so ill and had to be flown to India from treatment.

Niki and Sadic had been going out and Niki being who she was didn't really want to make her relationship with Sadic public so she decided to keep a low until their mother invited them all for dinner at their mention.

Niki: I'm not going Sean, you know mum and I will just end up fighting.

Sean: you don't have to fight. We will be there, we are a family and family comes above everything else.

Niki: i know but seeing her makes me so mad. Where fo i hang this picture?

Sean: let me help with that. It will look good on this other side.

He hanged the photo then walked up to her..

Sean: you have to be there, if not because she is asking then because iam.

Niki: okay, so will i finally meet Rayna?

Sean: yes, she will come. You haven't told me about that boy you have been seen around with.

Niki: who Sadic?

Sean: are you two a thing now, i thought he was just..

Niki: we are not anything yet... Still trying to figure it out..but definitely you will be the first to know.

Sean: alright I've got to go. See you tomorrow at dinner.

He hugged her and left.

Sunday afternoon Sean picked me up so that we could go to his home together. I was nervous but I think I was ready to meet the family. We got there first and his mum was really excited to see us. She hugged me, we had a little chat and she ushered us in. Sean introduced me to Judith, a woman she claimed to be like his second mum.

Judith and I talked for a while before she left for the kitchen. Eddy showed up next then Niki came a few minutes later and from what Sean told me. The family was complete.

We did some introduction as Judith set the table and from the look of things everyone was exited.

Niki: so you are Rayna, I've heard so much you.

Me: yes, I hope only good things...

Niki: definitely. Welcome to our home.

Sean: and i thought you were bringing someone.

Niki: he was caught up in traffic but he should be here now.

She said checking her phone and excusing herself from the table to go get Sadic from outside.

Niki: my friend is here.

Naomi: Judith please get some glasses.

We at the table talked and laughed as we waited for Niki and her guest to come in from outside. She walked in holding his hand and when they got to the dining she introduced him to us and something strange happend.

Judith was coming with glasses in a tray from the kitchen and when he saw and heard Sadic introduce himself to us she dropped all the glasses in the tray and all attention shifted to both of them. From where I was, I could see Sadic with this weird smile on his face.

Naomi: what's going on, do you two know each other?

Sadic: what a coincidence...she is my mother!.......
