SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE TWELVE

After getting all the information from Mike Eddy called Soja to come to his place since they needed to hit the spot where the guy was and take care of him. Before the situation got out of hand. Eddy knew that the guy wouldn't see the attack coming because to him he thought his guys had contained the situation.

Soja had just made sure that venessa got home before he drove to Eddy's place.

Eddy: how many guys are we likely to find there?

Mike: four guys plus the guy. The guys are armed and are very good at what they do. It will take alot of muscle to put them down .

Leo: Eddy, odhis and i can handle that.

Mike: I can come with you too.

Eddy: no we don't need a reason to look over our shoulders. You will stay here. Is there a security system in that place?

Mike: just electric wire that is on 24/7 meaning you can't go over the walls. There are two guards at the gate with one patrolling around.

Leo: any CCTV cameras?

Mike: yes, one on the front side of the entrance and the other at the back. You have to be careful.

Soja let Eddy know that he was nearing and because Eddy felt like they might miss the guy he asked Soja to wait by the junction as they were headed his way.

Eddy: stay here!

He warned mike as Leo and him left the house..

They got in the car and Leo drove as Eddy got his phone to make a call to matasi.

Leo: is he coming with us?

Eddy: no.

Matasi picked the call and Eddy asked him to hack Mike's phone number and let him know who he was communicating with and what they were saying as from that minute and matasi got on board.

Leo: is that necessary?

Eddy: we can't take chances.

Leo: the kid came clean.

Eddy: yes but he was being used by the enemy. We thought Dru was the only mole, turns out Dru ain't even a threat anymore.

Leo: we can't be sure about that.

Eddy: we can't be sure about Mike either.

They met with Soja and after having a word telling him where they were headed he followed them with his car..

Venessa never came back to my place and after having dinner Eva left too. She asked about my schedule for the next day and I told her i had no plans so she promised to come and keep me company. That was weird given the fact that she always popped up un announced just like Eddy and i I didn't quite get it but i would be home anyway.

After she left, i locked the door and got to bed and while in bed Sean started a chat. We texted back and forth and it felt good, more like we were getting to know each other better. I got to know a few things I didn't know about him and the reason why he has never bothered to settle down with some girl was because of his travelling. A lot of women never understood him so he chose business over the love and conditions that came with it..

I told him about my life and the challenges i had to go through after I lost my parents and he assured me that he was going to be there for me through thick and thin. He was going to love and to provide everything I needed and all I had to do in return was to love him...

Eddy and his team got to the place Mike had directed him to and just as he had said, the place was heavily guarded and they needed a strategy as they couldn't just jump fences. Soja got out of his car and joined the two in theirs. Eddy fixed a silencer to his gun and shot at the CCTV camera that was planted by the gate.

Eddy: that should buy us a moment before they realize we are here. Everyone ready?

The two boys assured him that they were so Eddy asked then to follow his lead.

Eddy got out of the car and walked to the gate and knocked on it. The guard opened and peeped and before he could ask Eddy questions Eddy shot him in the head and he dropped from inside. He then pushed the gate and let himself in signalling Leo and soja to join him and they hurriedly rushed towards the gate..

The other guard had noticed that one of the screens had gone blank and was in the verge of checking it when Eddy shot him in the head too before taking a look at the screen to locate whoever looked like a mysterious guy.

Leo: there, i can see a lady walking i think she is headed out.

Eddy: I think the guy we are looking for is in that room she came from.. soja you remain here, no vehicle goes out or comes in, leo you take the other entrance I will take this one.

He pointed to the screen then left to go inside.

Eddy shot the guard who was patrolling outside since he was the one with the gun that had a silencer.

As leo walked in towards the entrance he had his gun pointed just incase he ran into unexpected surprised and when clarrissa opened he door to let herself out she saw Leo first and when Leo saw her he shot her direction but she pulled the door and screamed running back towards the direction she had come from. Leo hurried after her knowing her screaming had alerted everyone of whatever was going on.

Leo got inside the door but there was no trace of Clarissa so in the verge of searching someone shot at him but the bullet hit the gate causing aloud bang and after seeing who it was they engaged in a shoot out and because two guys were both shooting at him, he had to find cover as he shot back.

Before Clarissa could get go the room she had come from, the same room the mysterious guy was Eddy saw her running and shot her on the leg and she fell with another loud scream sending some other guys Eddy's way.

Eddy shot at the guys as he grabbed clarrissa's arm and dragged her with him intending to ask her question but in the process of the other guys shooting, they shot her dead as he used her as a shield..

The guys were not getting tired of shooting but eventually Eddy knocked them out and found his way into the room. When he entered the guy kicked the hand that carried the gun and Eddy's gun fell off leaving him with no weapon. He tried to take him physically but the guy was well trained in karate so he did a few moves on eddy and threw him on the ground before he found his way and ran out.

Eddy dragged himself fron the floor picked his gun and ran after him only to meet a bullet that landed on his chest just around the shoulder before he dropped.

Leo had killed the rest of the guys and when he saw Eddy down he pulled him up and helped him out still looking out incase there was someone else to be dealt with..

The guy got out, got in his car and sprayed bullets on odhis who jumped behind a trash can as he drove off and when odhis raised his head he saw leo and Eddy approaching so he got out of his hiding place and helped leo with Eddy.

They got him in the car and Leo drove off with soja following him from behind.

Leo: sorry man, do we need to go to the hospital?

Eddy: no. No hospitals. Take me Rayna's place.

Leo: at this time?

Eddy: yes. I will be safer there.

Leo did as Eddy had asked and half an hour later they were knocking at Rayna's door and it took a while before she opened.

Soja had left for his place and asked leo to give him a call incase he needed his help in anyway.

Me: who is there?

Leo: it's Eddy, he is hurt and he needs your help.

When I heard that I quickly opened the door and let them in. I was shocked to see Eddy's shirt soaked in blood so I asked leo to lay him on the couch.

Me: what happened?

Leo: he got shot.

Me: but this is nit a hospital, what if he dies?

Leo: ge won't. You are the only one who can take care of him.

Leo went out and came back with some bandages and antiseptic. He cleaned his hands then cleaned the bullet wound before he dug his finger in to feel the bullet.

Me: what are you doing?

Leo: saving his life.

I was scared as Eddy was terribly sweating and moaning in pain.

Me: you are hurting him

Leo: there is no other way to do this.

He dug his finger even deeper then pulled out the bullet and dropped it on the table. He took care of the wound before putting a bandage on it.

Leo: you have some painkillers?

I nodded then rushed to my room and got them with a glass of water and sat beside him helping him take the painkillers.

Me: will he be okay?

Leo: yes, in a few days. He needs to rest.

Me: okay, he can sleep in my room while you take the couch.

Leo helped me get Eddy to my room and after taking off his shirt he helped him lie on the bed. I gave leo a blanket and he headed for the couch while I took a small towel, soaked it in water and wiped him off the blood then I covered him and slept beside him.

The following morning Dru was in the bathroom taking a shower when a text came through his phone and it happened that Malika had it transferring some music to her phone. " Baby my nights are cold without you. Will I see you today?" The text read. she looked towards the direction of the bathroom but the bathroom door was still closed so she responbded by saying "yes I also want to see you. Can you come to my place at around 12:00pm?" Venessa agreed to meet at 12:00pm at Dru's place.

After the conversation Malika blocked venessa and deleted the chat between them and returned Dru's phone under his pillow and went to prepare some breakfast for Dru.

Dru came from the bathroom, dressed up took his phone and left for the living room with no idea of what had taken place.

He left his phone and car keys and joined Malika in the kitchen. He hugged her from behind and kissed her.

Dru: good morning baby

Malika: morning mi amor

Dru: I've been thinking.

Malika: what have you been thinking about?

Dru: we should get married as soon as possible so that when my deals go through, we fly to the country of your choice and we can have and raise our babies from there.

She turned to him and threw her arms over his shoulders and kissed him.

Malika: I agree. Let's get married. Besides, I've been wearing this engagement ring for a long time. It's about time i became Mrs you.

Dru: pick the date and we will start on the plans as soon as possible...

She served breakfast, took it to the table and had it with him as they discussed other things.

The mystery guy after escaping death the previous night decided that he was going to run solo. He was not going to have guys working for him because everyone just turned out to be a liability. After taking a shower he dressed up and stood before a mirror staring hard at it before smiling sheepishly.

It's about time you step out and fight like a man. Hello world, please meet Sadic. He laughed then took his phone and called Niki was had already left Sean's place for change of clothes before she went to check out some places she wanted to put up a nail parlour. She wanted to start her own business and have something to identify herself with besides being a socialite and appearing on people's music videos.

Niki: hello,

Sadic: this is Sadic we spoke yesterday about the magazine.

Niki: yes I remember.

Sadic: i was wondering if you could spare sometime so that we can meet up for a shot interview and a photoshoot for the magazine.

Niki: at what time?

Sadic: say around 4:00pm?

Niki: that okay..

Sadic: i will text you the address.

Sadic ended the call and smiled before walking out of the room.

Naomi walked into Niki's bedroom and sat on her bed and even though Niki saw her, she ignored her and continued looking for her clothes.

Naomi: where were you last night.

Niki: out.

Naomi: did you see my calls?

Niki: yes.

Naomi: and you never bothered to respond because?

Niki stopped looked at her then nicely placed the dress on the bed.

Naomi: Niki I'm talking to you.

Niki: has it occurred to yiu that when someone is avoiding you it means they don't want to talk to you? Please get out of my room i want to take a shower.

Naomi: i warned you not to talk to me like that.

Niki: and now what, are you going to slap me again?

Naomi did not respond but got up and walked out of her room as she headed to the bathroom for hee shower.

I woke up early and cleaned the house then prepared Eddy some breakfast. It was along night with so much turning and tossing. His temperature was so his that I had to get up and wipe him with a wet towel a few times and it was only at around 3:00am that he got to sleep.

I prepared breakfast and decided to let him sleep as I had mine while i did some online jobs and while at it, I heard a knock by the door. I got up putting my cup on the table and when i opened the door, Sean was standing there with a bag of shopping with a big smile on his face.

Sean: hello my baby.

Me: hello love, you are here at 8:30am?

Okay that was a stupid question but I was so surprised to see him at my door, not that it was weird because he dropped me off the other day but because I didn't expect him to show up unannounced with his brother in my bed.

Sean: I'm sorry I didn't call, I was thinking that maybe we could have breakfast together before I left for work. Can I come in?

He said handing me the shopping bag as I let him in though I didn't know what to expect.

Sean: beautiful house

Me: thanks.

He sat as I took the stuff to the kitchen and came back sat beside him. He held my chin lifted my face to his and kissed me, the kiss was sweet and passionate that we even forgot why Sean was there in the first place. I sat on him, took off his tie and un buttoned his shirt kissing his neck chest all the way down. He took off my t-shirt and he stared and my bare chest as he traced my body with his hands. "You are damn beautiful" he said kissing me again and laying me on the couch. I unbuckled his belt but before we could get any further into our business Eddy cleared his throat and when we both turned he was there staring at us and the shock on their faces as Sean got up and stared at him then at me.....

Unbelievable! Eddy shouted as Sean pushed me off him and I hurriedly put on my blouse. Sean got up and looked at me then at Eddy. This is that time I didn't know how to start taking or what to say.

Sean: what the hell is this?

Me: its not what you think.

Eddy: you were going to make out with him while I'm here?

Me: shut up Eddy.

Sean: no let him talk, are you sleeping with him?

Eddy: what if she was?

That question was answered with a blow that landed Eddy on the couch and i screamed. Eddy got up and gave Sean a blow too and before I knew it they were fighting. Attempts to separate them failed because if I pushed one away the other one came at him with blows and kicks and I was afraid they could knock off my teeth so i thought of the best way to stop the fight and i screamed holding my stomach something that made both of them stop fighting and shift their attention to me.. Sean came to check on me as Eddy started feeling pain on his wound so he held on to the place he had been shot and made some sound like he was In pain. I got up from where Sean and I were and rushed to check on his wound and that kind of pissed sean off. He picked his car keys and walked out and attempts of calling him back didn't even work.

After Sean had left. I got the first aid kit and dressed Eddy's wound again.

Eddy: you are sleeping with my brother?

Me: he is my boyfriend.

Eddy: for how long?

I didn't answer that but Eddy's face and his questions made me realize he was jealous. He held my hand to his chest and looked into my eyes. I didn't want to fall into the temptation of kissing him because that is where we were headed so I pulled my hand off his and got up.

Me: I'm sorry, I can't do this.

Eddy: why not?

He asked getting up and holding my waist turning me to face him and pulling me even more closer to him.

Me: I told you I was seeing someone.

Eddy: then what do I do with my feelings? I know you have not been seeing my brother for long since he never mentioned you even once and if you were together, i know you would have gone with him to venessa's party.

Me: it doesn't matter how long I've been with him. You never made your intentions clear and from the looks of things, you were still hanging on to her. You have never gotten over your fiance and i don't think you will.

I pulled away from his hold and got to the kitchen trying to catch my breath after the kicks and blows that were flying over my head. I served him breakfast then tried to call Sean who was not picking my calls..

A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door and before I could open Eva let herself in. She looked troubled and I could tell that because I knew her too well. She said hi to us then sat there without saying much.

I knew Eva said she was going to come around but I didn't know she was going to come that early. After Eddy fished his breakfast I cleared the table then picked my bag ready to leave.

Eve: i just got here, where are you going?

Me: I need to see sean.

Eve: and it has to be right now when I'm here?

Eva was right, maybe it was the wrong time to go after Sean and the fact that he was not picking my calls meant that maybe he wouldn't want to talk to me.

"Can I get some rest from your room?" Eddy asked as he tried getting up and fell back on the couch so I helped him to my room. I gave him some painkillers before he got to bed and after I made sure he was comfortable, I joined Eva in the living room.

Eva: what happened to him?

Me: he got shot yesterday.

Eva: by who.

Me: some guy whom he claims is after him I don't know much about it. Tell me about you though. What's that's face?

Eva: it's nothing.

Me: i know it's not... Tell me.

Eva: I'm fine really I'm just stressed out because of my mum and life in general.

Me: then let's go shopping. It always makes you feel better.

Eva: no. It will make me feel better if we stayed indoors.

She gave me a fake smile and even though i knew something was up with her, I couldn't push it.... If she really wanted to talk, she definitely would. Eva was not the type of a person to keep stuff for herself

Malika went to Dru's place to wait for venessa there. She never knew Dru was playing then and what pissed her off the most was that Dru was about to go to her place and ask for her hand in marriage. Malika is not the type of a woman who throws tantrums. She wanted to deal with both of them but in her own way.

Venessa didn't bother calling Dru again so she went to meet him at his place. She wore some lingerie she had bought specifically for him and she thought it was the time to get him back given the fact that she had not had him like she really wanted to. Dru was ever on the move and several occasions she came to his place, prepared dinner but he never showed. She wore a trench coat on top of her lingerie and left her place for Dru's.

At exactly 1:00pm, she knocked on the door but no one responded so she opened the door and let herself in. See Dru had given Malika the keys to his place but he never did to venessa. The only time he would give her a key was when he was certain that Malika was not around and there was no posiblility of her going to his place.

Venessa: Babe i'm home!

She called as she dropped her handbag on the floor and unbuttoned her coat as she walked towards the kitchen where Malika was cooking. Malika had heard her come in so she leaned on the kitchen counter with her arms crossed on her chest waiting to see venessa.

When venessa came face to face with Malika she quickly covered herself and looked around Abit uncomfortable as if she had gone inside the wrong house.

Venessa: who are you?

Malika: I'm Malika, Dru's girlfriend and you are?

Venessa: what do you mean by Dru's girlfriend, where is he? Dru!..... Dru!

She called walking around trying to locate him.

Malika: he is not here darling, it's just me and you.

Venessa: what do you want from me?

Malika: nothing really, i just want to know what business you have with my boyfriend..

She left Malika in the kitchen got to the living room and picked her bag ready to leave but Malika stopped her.

Malika: wait, I did not come here to fight you. I just want to know the truth, who is Dru to you?

Venessa: he is my boyfriend..

Malika was not surprised since she already knew what she was signing up the moment she left home.

Venessa: now i will assume you are the one called me here, why?

Malika: I'm not here to fight you, I was coming with that intention but look at us, he is making a fool out of us. A few weeks to come, he will be going to my home to ask for my hand in marriage, who knows what he has promised you and who knows if he will fulfill it.

Venessa was silent. She sat on the couch and Malika sat on the other side still trying to talk to her about Dru wanting to find out how far he had gone with venessa..

Leo came to check up on Eddy so because Eva said she would be okay resting before she went to her place I told her I was going to see Sean after explaining to her what had taken place and she agreed to let me go.

I excused myself after showing leo to my room where Eddy was and I left after Eva offered to prepare them lunch.

I did not call Sean again but I knew just how to find him. i got an Uber On my way i called Esther the secretary to ask her where i was most likely to find Sean and she told me he was in his office but was going to leave in the next hour.

I asked rather to try and keep him there and not let him leave before I got there.

Esther: is there a problem?

Me: not at all. I just want to see him.

I ended the call and was hopeful that I would get him. I needed to make him understand that Eddy and I didn't have a thing going on.

He had to understand that what he saw was total out of good "samaritanship" if there was anything like that..

I got to Sean's place of work and met up with Esther at the reception. She told me Sean was doing some final touches before he got to leave and I didn't wait for her to say something else.

I pushed the door open and he looked up and our eyes met. He got up immediately and the expression on his face changed.

Sean: you have some nerve showing your face here after what i found out this morning.

Me: and what do you think you found out?

Sean: for how long have you been sleeping with my brother?

Me: what gave you the impression that I was sleeping with him? Did you miss the bandage on his chest, if he is really your brother did you even bother asking what happened to him, do you think I would be insane enough to make out with you knowing I had slept with him, what do you take me for an i***t?

He didn't respond to any of that and at some point I had tears balancing in my eyes not to manipulate him but i was genuinely upset.

Me: see i never saw you as the kind of a guy who easily jumps into conclusion. I have known Eddy for sometime now and I never knew he was your brother till recently when I told my friend Eva about you and she told me you were brothers. I have never slept with Eddy. He came to my place at night injured and i couldn't throw them out.

Sean: why your place of all the places, why not at one of his goons places,his house or even my mother's house. There's someone there who could have taken care of him.

Me: how the hell I'm I suppose to know what he got himself into that made him not go to his place or any of those places?

He was silent. He took his seat again and held his chin looking at me.

Me: I agreed to be your girlfriend and as hot and tempting Eddy is, I choose you and the next time you go accusing and assuming stuff, try asking instead.

I opened the door and walked out on him. I expected him to come running after me like the typical woman that I was but he didn't. That made me more mad but I'm glad I told him something he needed to hear. Seen when I was going there, i was going with the mindset of apologizing and begging him for forgiveness but things just kind of changed after stepping inside that room. I played an emotional card on him and played victim. I had to make him know that he was not that everything and if I wanted to sleep with Eddy or do anything with him I would. I was playing with his ego but I also wanted to assure him that being Sean Anwar did not mean I couldn't leave him.
