SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE SIXTEEN

After putting some bullets in his gun, Terrence got Dru's location from malika's friend and even though she wanted to go with him, he couldn't allow her for he knew how bad things could get in such confrontation and only one of them was trained in handling such situations.

Malika: please be careful.

Terence: can I ask you something?

Malika: yes

Terrence: forget about seeking revenge for my father, why would you sell out the man you claim to be your fiance the man you love?

Malika: he is my fiance yes but what kind of life would i have with a gangster, someone who kills rich men and forcefully takes their money to take care of me? I need more than that in a fiance.

He didn't say another word but picked his phone and walked to the door.

Malika: please be careful.

Terence: i will.

Dru called venessa letting her know that once he was done at work he was going to spend the night at her place then on remembering matasi's warning on keeping off venessa he asked her to go to his place instead and wait for him there and as usual venessa was more than excited.

Venessa: see, you will just wander around but at the end of the day, I'm the one you will always be looking for.

She said to herself after ending the call and smiling to herself.

Venessa: today is going to be a night of its kind. Malika or whatever her name is thought she could steal you away from me but it's her who will leave us after I'm done with you tonight. She has no idea half the things I have sacrificed to be with you...

She dropped her phone on the bed and started looking for a dress to wear...

Eddy, Leo and Mike got to matasi's office and they found people who were employed there closing down and when Mike asked about matasi's where abouts he was told there was no one by that name.

Eddy looked at Mike and back at the lady they were talking to.

Mike: listen, I was here a few weeks ago and i met matasi in this office. A short dark guy with an afro.

Her: i know the person you are describing but matasi is not his name. The guy stopped working here two months and one week ago and I'm his replacement.

Leo: is there any way we can can find him?

Her: no. I only spoke to him a few times when he was handing over after resigning. I didn't get enough to know where he was headed next.

Eddy: okay, thanks for the information.

They left disappointed not knowing where to get their next lead so they got in their car and drove off.

Eddy: how could everything happen under our noses?

Leo: Dru was just ahead of us but he has not won yet.

Eddy: yes he has, he has managed to kill the entire team and you don't want to know how JoJo is upset. He feels played and cheated. We can't even do anything about it because everything was set on fire.

He stopped the car abruptly, got out and kicked the tyre severally shouting and pacing up and down.

Leo and Mike got out of the car to talk to him but before they could say much a call came through Eddy's phone. It was odhis.

Eddy: what's up?

soja: venessa is on the move. I think she is meeting up with Dru so I will follow her and give you a location.

Eddy: thanks man I'm counting on you.

He hanged up and both mike and leo were staring at him.

Eddy: Soja is following a trail. Let's hope we get this right this time. .

He got back in the car and so did the two guys.

Your brother Sean, he seems to be the sober one compared to Eddy. Does it have anything to do with his position in the company?

Sean asked pouring a glass of wine in her glass and Niki took a sip before looking up to him.

Niki: i don't like talking about my family but yes. Sean is very different from Eddy. Eddy is a free spirit who lives his life beyond people's expectations and he hates rules and breaks them intentionally while Sean is very disciplined and focused. He knows what he wants, where to get it and how to get it. He is more like my dad.

Sadic: tell me about your dad?

Niki: he was the most kind and generous man I ever knew. He loved people and I wish he was still alive.

Sadic: I miss that. Growing up with my parents by my side. I never got the privilege to be spoiled or to get everything I wanted.

Niki: but it's a good thing because you became ambitious enough to get everything you ever wanted on your own. See what sucks about being given everything and growing up in a rich family is that you never know where to start when you are left on your own. When my dad died, it was the most trying moment in my life. Alot of things changed and I had to fight for myself and work twice as hard.

Sadic: but you turned out to be a strong woman and that's something I love about you. Can I ask you a personal question?

Niki: yes.

Sadic: are you dating?

Niki: no and I honestly don't believe in love.

Sadic smiled and they continued their talk until Niki asked if he could allow her to leave since she needed to settle in, in her new apartment so Sadic signalled the waitress for the bill and asked her to keep change as they both got up and left.

Terrence got to Dru's and sugu's hide out and when they heard a car beep outside sugu asked the guard to identify who was in the cat and as the soldier was still trying to figure out what was going on, Terrence shot him dead then got off his car and walked in fearless like the solder that he was.

When sugu saw him he shot at him but the bullet missed and hit the gate so Terrence ran and hid behind one of the cars as he shot back at sugu and Dru who were now both shooting at him.

Dru: who are you and what do you want here?

Terrence: just a friendly visit.

He said shooting back and a bullet hit sugu's hand and the gun dropped.

Dru: ( to sugu) is it that bad?

Sugu: no I can use my left hand.

As he bent down to pick his gun Terrence peeped and shot him in the head and he dropped dead right in front of Dru.

Dru shifted places and shot at Terrence again trying to find his way out but Terrence was on to him.

Terrence: so, i had a chat with your fiance and she told me stuff.

Dru: what fiancee?

Terrence: Malika.

Terrence shattered the windows to the car that Dru was taking cover from and he had to shift dodging bullets again and when he tried to shoot at Terrence and after Terrence heard the sound of the empty gun he because Dru ran out of bullets, he came out of his hiding and when Dru tried to run he shot him in the leg and he dropped on his knees.

Dru: damn it!

Terrence: I bring greetings from Robert's wife and daughter.

Dru stared at him blankly.

Terrence: how did you plan to get all his money and why did you fail?

Dru: i didn't know what you are talking about.

Terrence: well maybe I didn't get my facts right but there was a venessa woman who told Malika all your secrets and now I'm here to get revenge for my father's death.

Dru: i don't kill your father.

Terrence: but you had him kidn*pped and he turned out dead.

Dru: i had nothing to do with it.

Terrence: then you must know who did.

Dru: yes, but i will give yuu the name on one condition.

Terrence: dude I'm the one holding the gun so you don't give conditions.

Dru: it's the only way this works.

Terrence: i'm listening.

Dru: I give you the name of who killed Robert and you let me walk free.

Terrence looked at him for a while the nodded.

Terrence: we have a deal.

Dru: give me your car keys.

Terrence: name first.

Dru: I will tell you the name once I get in that car.

Terrence hesitated but gave him the keys anyway. Dru got up dragged his foot to the gate and got into the car with Terrence pointing his fun to his head.

Dru: the man who killed Robert is called Eddy, he is the leader of a cartel that was operating to eliminate Robert and I just happened to be in his way. I watched him kill Robert and he framed me for it. I didn't know any venessa and Malika or whoever her name is played you too. I don't know any Malika.

Dru started the car but before he could drive off, Terrence pulled the trigger and blew off his head splashing blood all over the car. He then opened the door to his car and pulled him out then searched his pockets but having found nothing, he went back to where sugu was lying and searched him and got a phone and a flash disk.

He then hurried back to his car and drove off with his next mission bring tracing Eddy and blowing off his brains too.

Eddy got a call from Soja confirming venessa destination and odhis was certain that that is the same place she was meeting up with Dru. Eddy assured odhis that they were on his way and a few minutes later Eddy's car was pulling over next to Soja'

Eddy: any sign of Dru?

Soja: not yet but he should be here.

Leo: what if he is already inside, this is Dru's place right?

Mike: yes. Only that his car is not in the parking.

Eddy: i don't think we have the whole night to debate on whether or not Dru is inside the when we can actually find out.

He walked towards the door and leo hurriedly followed his and Mike and Soja closely followed from behind.

Eddy knocked on the door and venessa opened exitedly with a broad smile in her face but the smile faded when she saw Eddy.

Eddy: sorry to disappoint. You were expecting him right?

She didn't respond but looked quite surprised at the back up that was waiting by the door.

Eddy: where is he?

Venessa: I have no idea.

Eddy looked ar his team and smiled briefly then looked at venessa and the smile disappeared.

Eddy: I know you do meet him and you know his every move so where the hell is he?

Venessa: i don't know.

Eddy: see Dru has killed my entire team and set goods worth millions on fire. I have lost alot within the past four hours and he has to pay so i will not ask again. Where is Dru?

Venessa: I honestly do not know.

Eddy raised his gun to her face and without thinking twice he shot her in the head and killed her instantly then walked out and stood outside with his three guys.

Eddy: that should lure him out. Soja, watch this house and if you see Dru, kill him then let me know when it's done.

Oghis: sure.

Eddy: now we have to find Matasi. If any of you find him bring him to me alive. We can all break for the night and please be on the look out.

Sean and I had a good time. We talked alot and now I understood why he got so mad when he saw Eddy at my place. The life their mother was living had affected him and not just him but his siblings too. No one felt like settling down especially hom because he felt like every woman would eventually end up behaving like his mother. "I want a woman who will take care of my home, children and continue my legacy even after I die. Not just jump from one man to other" his words. He also invited me over for dinner at his place to meet his family, something I was really unsure of but I agreed so that he wouldn't feel like it had something to do with Eddy.

After having dinner I saw him off and he hugged me and planted a kiss on my mouth then he got in his car and drove off.

I got back to the house and found Eva in the living room watching news and there was a report about a lady who had been murdered in her lovers house. A neighbor had called the police who got there with the media to cover the story.

Officer: we have checked the place and nothing was stolen so we are certain that this was not a robbery. Whoever did this had other agendas that is not known to us but we will do our investigations. We identified the lady as venessa Opera and her body will be taken to the city mortuary.

That news shocked both of us and we were certain that the police was not lying as we saw venessa's body covered in sheets and was being put in the police Landover. Eva started crying saying Dru was going for her next and she didn't know what to do. I on the other hand was scared and if Dru could kill venessa whom he claimed to love they we were nothing to him. I called Eddy and asked him to get home asap as o tried to calm down Eva.

Eddy told me he had alot to figure out that night and he wasn't sure if he was going to be good company but I insisted knowing he was the only one who could help, not even the police but him.

Eva: what if he goes after my mother?

Me: he said you should report to him right, it doesn't have to be face to face?

Eva shook her head wiping away the tears.

Me: then call him and cook up a lie.

Eva: and what do I tell him?

Me: anything that you think will let you off the hook as we figure this out..

Eva took her phone and called Dru but the call went un answered. She called again but the result was the same.

Sadic took Niki shopping for a few things for her apartment and dropped her home. Sadic had expected Niki to be going to her father's home because he had longed to be there and check the house out before he eliminated everyone living in it but he thought another opportunity would present itself..

Niki: i had a good time.

Sadic: me too. Will I see you again?

Niki: like are you asking me on a date?

Sadic: second date I guess.

Niki: look Sadic I'm not the type of a woman you would want to be taking on dates.

Sadic: well, that's what you think.. i find you interesting and I'm trying to satisfy my curiosity.

Niki: okay,

Sadic: is that a yes?

Niki: no. But it's a maybe. I will let you know.

Sadic: alright then, you have a good night.

He hugged her and watched her get in before he got in the lift and went down.

" It's only a matter of time Niki. You are beautiful but you are only a tool I'm using to get close to your family. Brace yourself for a nightmare darling" he said to himself as he smiled taking a look at himself on the big mirror inside the lift.

Terrence went straight to malika's house after finishing the job and she was up waiting after watching the news. When she heard the door she quickly got up and opened in then Terrence walked in holding a small laptop in his hand and waited for her to close the door.

Malika: did you succeed?

He looked at her but didn't say a word. He sat on the couch and she sat next to him.

Terrence: did you lie to me?

Malika: about what?

Terrence: Dru killing my father.

Malika: no. Why would I lie to you?

Terrence: Dru said he had nothing to do with Roberts death but gave me a name of someone who did.

Malika: who?

Terrence: Eddy..... Eddy Anwar

Malika: the politician's son?.... No. That is not true.

Terrence: don't be too quick to defend him. After I killed Dru and his team I got this flash on one of his guys pockets.

He put the flash on his laptop and played what was in the flash.

Minister: I will do what you want, just don't kill me.

Eddy: I'm not the one who wants you dead but I was hired to do a job which I must complete.

Minister: by who, your corrupt father?

Eddy: no.my corrupt father does stuff on his own. He is not a coward. I was hired By someone whose way you are standing in.

Minister: fine I can make you a deal.

Eddy: I don't make deals with my targets.

The gun went off and Eddy took off before someone knew he was there.

Terence: that's Eddy Anwar right there.

Malika: I'm shocked.

Terrence: i need to find Eddy and put him in his rightful place.

Malika: but that is a totally different case Terrence. Let it go.

Terrence: I can't. I work for the government and people deserve to know what happened.

Malika: Terrence please stay out of it. That's something that happens over five years ago. Just let it go.

Terrence: connect me ti your guy, I need him to help me find Eddy.

Malika: no. I'm not sending you in deaths way. Eddy is dangerous and if he realizes you are after him he will deal with you

Terence laughed.

Terence: you have no idea who you are talking to do you?

Terrence picked his laptop and walked out on her..

Eddy knocked and after I confirmed it was gim i opened the door and let him in. He hugged me then stared at Eva for a while before I led him to the couch. Eva could not even look him in the face.

Me: there is a problem.

Eddy: what's the problem?

Me: Dru hired Eva to spy on you. Paid her 100,000 thousand shillings and threatened to kill her mother if she didn't do what he wanted.

Eddy: so what is the problem?

Me: venessa is dead and Eva is afraid Dru will be becoming for her next.

Eddy: and how am I part of all these?

Me: please help her.

Eddy: i killed Venessa.

Me: you did what?

Eddy: I killed her and I'm after Dru too so don't worry about him. Stay inside and you can keep her here too. I don't think he will come here.

Me: wait you drop the i killed Venessa bomb on us and expect us to brush it off just like that, she was our friend.

Eddy: friendships are overrated, no one is really loyal as everyone has a price tag. You mention the right price and they screw you over for the money.

He said giving Eva a Stern look.

Me: Eddy please!

Eddy: like I said, I'm having a crappy evening and this is not the way I want to spend the rest of it...

He got up and I also got up and grabbed his arm.

Me: hey, you know you can talk to me about whatever is bothering you.

He looked at his arm which I was still holding then I let go of it. He grabbed me by the waist pulled him close to him and kissed me and I quickly pushed him back.

Eddy: I've got alot of things bothering me and that's one of them so no, we can't talk about it.
