SAVAGE AFFAIRS EPISODE FIFTEEN

Dru met up with his guys at the hide out and gave orders for the attack that was going to take place in a about an hour's time.

He wanted to attack before Eddy and his team moved.

Sugu: the guys are ready and the weapons are enough.

Dru: good. You will ride with the team that will attack the delivery guys, make sure all of them are dead while I will ride in my car as one more van comes with me to their hide out. This is the day we get to take over and get back everything Johansen left.

He said receiving a call from Malika...

Dru: baby it's a bad time, I'm working.

Malika: sorry I just missed you and thought i should check on you.

Dru: i'm good, thanks for the thoughts.

Malika: okay, will you come later in the evening, i want to prepare your favorite meal.

Dru: no baby I will be working the entire night, we've got deadlines to beat but I will make it up to you.

Malika: okay.. I love you..

Dru: I love you too.

He hanged up and made a call to Matasi confirming if Eddy and his team had already left and matasi told him they had not.

Matasi: I'm really tensed right now, what if the plan doesn't work?

Dru: it will work, you can save your skin by telling him my location, i will be ready for him and besides, if we strike it will bring about confusion and no one will think you had anything to do with it..

Matasi : okay.

Malika turned to Terrence and smiled.

Malika: there is only two places he can be. At venessa's or at their work station.

Terrence: you know the place?

Malika: no but I know someone who can tell us where he is. An ex boyfriend.

Terrence: you keep in touch with your ex?

Malika: for little favors..

Terrence: what about the venessa girl, can't she know where he is, we can make her go us all the information.

Malika: it's not a guarantee that she will comply.

Terrence: call your guy then. I only have tonight and tomorrow to get this done..

Eddy got back to the hide out and found his guys doing the final touches. The deliveries were ready and the team was ready to take off. Eddy inspected the parcel before giving the go ahead.

As he went to his office to meet up with Leo he got a call from matasi.

Eddy: talk to me

Matasi: I've pinned down his location. Sending the address on your phone.

Eddy: good.

He got to his office and Leo walked in almost immediately.

Leo: when we are out of this place, no one will ever know we were here.

Eddy: this place carries alot of memories. This is where it all began. The trainings, the friendships, the brotherhood, it all started here.

Leo: yeah but it's now not a home anymore. So what's the progress with the go down?

Eddy sat and Leo sat on the other side of the table.

Eddy: the guy has agreed to 25million we are meeting tomorrow to do the payments. You can come with me then we can move in the evening. Your IT guy came through.

Leo: matasi?

Eddy nodded then showed him the location he had sent to his phone.

Eddy: see, threat gets things done.

Mogorocks and his team drove for a while before a black can crossed their way. They tried to reverse but another car blocked them from behind.

Mogorocks: s**t! We are under attack. Someone call Eddy as I hold them off.

Eddy received a call from msosi and all he said was that they were under attack and he let him listen in on the rest as they found their way out of the car of which Two of his guys did gunning a few of the guys down. There was alot of gunshots and the next thing he heard was get out of the car and there was another shot.

Eddy had put the phone on speaker and after they heard what was happening they quickly got up and checked their guns for bullets.

Eddy: i have twelve rounds.

Leo: same here.

They hurriedly got out of the office as Eddy called matasi for the location of their car.

Matasi: it stopped like 15 minutes away from the hideout. They are at a rough road and the car has stopped for a while.

Eddy: that's because they are under attack. What's near the road?

Matasi: a petrol station like 5 metres away.

Eddy hanged up and the moment they tried getting into the car, the gate burst open and in drove two cars with guys inside it spraying bullets on everything.

Eddy: damn it we won't make it out, come with me.

Leo followed him as they ran in between the cars to find their way back inside and they had to find another exit failure to which they were not going to make it out of there alive.

Leo: this attack was well planned.

Eddy: yeah I see that too.

Eddy and leo lifted a big metal like frame that had a tunnel under it. The tunnel led to some ditch besides the road.

Eddy: get in.

He said picking two bags full of money and handing them to Leo before he got in and leo helped him pull the metal over them. They walked through the tunnel so that they could get to the other side.

Eddy tried to call a cab but there was no reception.

Eddy: did you see Dan anywhere?

Leo: no. After the boys left he was winding up with stocking the weapons.

Eddy: let's hope he is safe.

Dru and his team set fires to the vehicles that had stuff packed in them and when they couldn't see Eddy and Leo anymore, he set the whole place on fire.

Dan heard commotions as he was coming from the washrooms and when he realized they were under attack he tried finding his way out but one of Dru's guys spotted him. The guy shot at him but Dan's bullet got him and Dan came from the corner he was hiding at and shot him. The guards engaged in a shooting battle gunning three of Dru's men down but Dru eventually managed to take them out by sending a grenade their way.

Dan ran off after shooting the guy but he came face to face with Dru who had a gun to his face.

Dru: where are they?

Dan: i don't know man,

Dru shot him in the head and he dropped. He found his way out of the burning building and tge only person who had not died in his team was a guy who had a bullet wound to his stomach and instead of helping him, he put two more bullets I his chest, got in his car and drove off.

Sugu's and his guys killed the two of Eddy's guys who had been shooting at them before setting the deliveries on fire and driving off the scene.

Dru called Sugu to confirm if things had gone well and sugu assured him that everything was okay only that he had lost four of their members.

Dru : and I've lost everyone I came with. We clearly underestimated them. Let's lay low fir a while, if I'm right Eddy will strike back.

Sugu: you didn't kill him?

Dru: no I did not kill him. He disappeared on us.

Sugu: so our guys died for nothing?

Dru: not for nothing. We will get them, that i promise...

After Niki moved her stuff into some apartment she got after her mother threw her out, she decided to meet Sadic for coffee as agreed and she was just a few minutes late as Sadic had already gotten to the restaurant.

Sadic watched her walk in as smiled as he got up to pull her a chair. A lot of people seemed to notice who she was and others were even taking photos of her.

Sadic: you look beautiful.

Niki: thanks.

She put her purse and phone on the table and soon after the waitress came to take their order.

Niki: I thought we were doing coffee.

Sadic: I changed my mind. A pretty lady deserves a decent dinner.

She smiled.

Sadic: so how do you deal with this publicity?

Niki: it scared me at first when everyone was in my face but now I am kind of used to it. You look good and those are some expensive shoes.

Sadic: you noticed them?

Niki: yes I did. So tell me about you.

Sadic: I'm Sadic mukoma,born and bred in Nairobi but relocated to Dubai for some job opportunities, luck was on my side for i made a few coins and decided to come back home, set a few businesses then settle down.

Niki: I see. Any siblings?

Sadic: the only son but was raised up by my grandmother until she passed on but then i was already in high school and able to take care about myself. Enough about me.. now that everyone knows about Niki Anwar, why did you leave the studio so upset?

Niki: family drama. It was mum. She was caught in a scandal.

Sadic: sorry about that. I read the magazine.

Niki: it's nolonger a big deal.

Their food was brought and they ate as they talked some more.

Eva should up at my place and found me busy winding up some online job which I had to deliver before the day ended and when I saw her, I assumed her and continued with whatever I was doing.

She threw a bunch of cash on the table and i looked at her but still didn't say a word.

She came sat next to me, took the computer from me and put it on the table.

Eva: I'm sorry about yesterday.

I didn't say anything as I was waiting for her to explain what it was about.

Eva: so you are not going to talk to me?

Me: you are the one who ran off this place, what is this money for?

Eva: I got paid to spy on Eddy by Dru.

Me: venessa's Dru?

Eva: yes. He wanted me to spy on venessa too but his main focus is on Eddy.

Me: how did you even meet Dru?

Eva: there is a day he came looking for venessa after she claimed he wanted to kill her. When he found venessa at my place he took her with him but warned me not to open my mouth to anyone. He came back after sometime and told me about spying on Eddy.

Me: what exactly does he want to know?

Eva: everything, who is meeting, when he is meeting them, what he is doing everything.

Me: what does he have against you?

Eva: he threatened my mother Rayna and I'm only telling yuu this because you are my best friend and I can't keep anything from you. I tried but I just can't.

Me: thank you for not pushing through with the plan and thank you for trusting me. I will talk to Eddy then he will find a solution to that.

Eva: no you can't. Dru will find out and he will kill me.

Me: Eddy already knows you are upto something. He told me about your evesdropping and we have to tell him the truth so that he will get off your back.

Eva was nervous and literally shaking. I asked if she wanted to stay for the night and she nodded so we got up to go get dinner started and as I was collecting my stuff from the table I heard a knock by the door so Eva proceeded to the bedroom with my laptop and the cash as I opened the door.

Sean was by the door with a bunch of red roses and two balloons written I'm sorry on them..

Sean: hi?

Me: hi.

Sean: can I come in?

I nodded and he did handing me the roses and the balloons. I smelled them then placed them in the table and he took both of my hands in it.

Sean: I've been a jerk. I should have listened.

Me: yes, you should have.

Sean: I'm sorry. I just got jealous and it was wrong for me to assume things.

Me: well I'm over it.

Sean: so I'm I fogiven?

Me: yes. You are forgiven..

We hugged and kissed before offering him a seat.

I opted to go help Eva but she said she could handle it so Sean and i spent time in tge living room as we waited for the food.

Eddy and leo got to the other side of the tunnel and called an Uber that picked them up from tgat point to Eddy's house. They in, dropped the bags on the floor and then Eddy called Dan but he was not picking his phone.

Mike: what's going on?

He asked coming from one of the rooms after Eddy and leo stormed in.

Eddy: there has been an attack at the hide out please call ndegwa and Leo call msosi.

They did as he called the two of their guys who had been shot and no one was answering their phones.

Mike: nothing. What really happened.

Leo: Dru attacked and we think this was a plan laid out. Someone must have been giving him information because we don't understand how he knew of the deliveries and how they knew they needed to split up.

Eddy: find me matasi. He must be the one.

Mike: i think so too. Dru is the one who directed me to him the day you asked me to find an IT guy..

Eddy: think about it, he calls me to give us location of Dru then less than an hour later mogorocks and his team are attacked. The thing is he was trying to save his skin.

Leo: meaning he could have tipped Dru off then maybe even given us a fake location. Did he think we were going to go after Dru immediately?

Mike: you guys made Dru most wanted so maybe he thought you would drop everything to go after Dru giving them enough time to strike.

Eddy: or maybe Dru told him to give us a location to save him from getting a bullet..

Mike: i can't reach matasi. His line is off.

Leo: it has to be him.

Eddy: Mike can you handle a gun?

Mike: yes

Eddy: you know where we can find him right?

Mike: yes.

Eddy: he will take us where Dru is. Let's go guys....
