As i approached the grand stairs a lump formed in my throat. Wishing it wasn't already my last year of High School. I took the first step then another and another before i knew it it was opening the giant oak door. First thing on the agenda was to the auditorium for the welcome back assembly receive our class schedules and then start our day. Traffic in the hall was light and i hadn't seen the girls yet, which made the lump tighter in my throat. I wasn't paying much attention as i was trying to text them for a meet up or at least to sit together during the assembly, i had just clicked send on the message when I ran into something and fell onto my back. " Hey watch were your going swampy" came a familiar voice that dripped with disgusted. I looked up to see Chrystal Evens the mayors beautifully blonde eighteen year old daughter. Me and her have been in the same school since kindergarten, though she clearly thinks of our social standings are too different to have anything else in common. "Ah Chrystal what a nice surprise " I said sarcastically as i removed myself from the ground. Her eyes turned to slits at my tone as she huffed " your lucky you didn't cause my coffee to spill on my channel bag. We all know its more than you can afford with your knockoff lifestyle." She smiled at me as the group of followers behind her giggled on command. I rolled my eyes at her she knows very well all of my name brand products are genuine , though arguing that point was unimportant. I smiled back at her and asked " How ever would i of been able to replace such an expensive bag?" He eyes twinkled as she was wining our exchange. " Bags from three seasons ago aren't even available anymore." I finished. She advanced on me jabbing her finger towards me. "Listen here Swampy." She began but stopped when one of her friends said "Whoa, who is that?" Her eyes shot over my shoulder and widened slightly the hardness in her face had slipped away and was replaced by awe. " Damn" slipped out of her mouth. I turned to look for myself as someone walked by me. My eyes scanned over a muscular figure in a navy colored blazer. As i drank in his appearance time felt to slow down he wore khaki slacks with his blazer and he had messy dirty blonde hair that was shorter on the side and pushed back on top as some strands fell down over his forehead. a small studded square cut diamond shone in his earlobe. My eyes moved over his features trying to understand what it was seeing when they landed on his sideways glance. It was boring holes into me. His eyes were such an intense blue i almost flinched. Though I felt as if an eternity had passed it was all over too quickly and i was now staring at his back as he walked into the auditorium. I released a breathe i hadn't realized i was hold. Still staring after him. Who was that guy? I had never seen him before, he has to be a senior he looked older than the rest of our class though. Where had he come from? Questions swirled around my head as my thought filled with the mysterious stranger. "Hey Swampy!" Chrystal said snapping my attention back to her "Your drooling and though i don't blame you, he is way out of your league , there is noway he'd be interested in you." She spat her last words at me with even more venom then her others. I rolled my eyes and walked away from her and her cult to enter the auditorium to look for Mia and Tori. As i entered, my eyes scanned the isles. Most students were already sitting down and talking to each other with a few here and there standing in different groups. Still scanning everywhere i couldn't find them but my eyes did land on a pair of sapphires looking right at me. The stranger sat in the very last row in the very back right to the far right of me. I wanted to look away from him but couldn't. Chrystal and the others from out in the hall wall by me and down the isle towards the front, but not before she through me an ugly smile. I looked back over to my right and his eyes were still on me. "Okay, everyone please a seat and bring your attention to the front." My attention went to the front as the Principal Mr. Douglas walked across the stage. The students that had been standing started to take their seats . Still not being able to find the girls i decided to take a seat to my left and just would find them later. I could still feel eyes on my as the principal gave his speech and welcomed all the students. I looked over towards the stranger and sure enough he was staring at me again. this time when my eyes meet his he let a smile spread across his face and instantly he turn from gorgeous to irresistible . His smile was uneven and curved up more towards the left his teeth were a bright white and seemed perfectly straight. So straight id almost go so far as to say he had once had braces. Getting a better look at his face now i can see he has stubble lining his sharp jawline and his chin. And there was another small square diamond stud in his other ear. He looked even older than i originally thought, not too much older than eighteen but he defiantly looked older than eighteen. I gave a small smile back. I was enjoying the moment we were sharing until the principal called for my attention again. " Senior Class!" he belted with enthusiasm. "This is sure to be a great year for you and i am excited to get to share it with all of you. " " So if you would pull up your student emails to receive your schedules." Everyone started pulling out there phones and checking their schedules, i could see friends comparing them and seeing which classes they shared. I was looking over my own schedule when i felt someone standing next to me. I looked up to my right and straight into the blue eyes of the stranger.
