Chapter 16 As Adam was beginning his drive to London, Jonathan was walking back into his apartment holding a copy of the Herald, the local Plymouth newspaper, published the day before. Several times during the previous day he had checked the news channels for any coverage of Young’s arrest. He hadn’t seen anything; the media’s attention was firmly focused on events in the Persian Gulf. There seemed to be hundreds of experts giving their opinion on the events there, on which surprisingly enough as yet there had been no official statement from No 10. His intention had been to drag Isobel out of her room, thrust her in front of the TV, showing her the arrest of her lover. That plan hadn’t worked, so he arranged to get a copy of the Herald delivered that morning and now carried it purposeful
