About the same time, De Costa was finalising his immediate arrangements. The wallet he had kicked under Roseau’s body had in it his driving license which had on it the address of the house they shared in Kensington. The first thing he had done upon leaving the Carlton Towers was to return there to pick up his belongings, arriving long before the police organised themselves on Sloane Street.
He had previously packed all his belongings; he knew there was nothing that would compromise his mission left there. Before leaving he placed a folder full of documents, and the hard drives taken from Jonathan’s office on a table in the dining room. Then locking the door he left for good.
