I went after her, yelling her name relentlessly, but she didn't bat an eye. She didn't even bother to look back, let alone stop to at least hear what I had to say.
But that didn't stop me from going further. I had a lot of questions to ask and she clearly was in the right position to answer them.
I hastened my steps, desperate to catch up with her, but I was rather too late. Before I could get any closer, she had already stormed into the room ahead, shutting the door firmly behind her.
I pressed forward and knocked on the door repeatedly, but she never responded, not even once.
