Lena's POV I showed Damien the message at breakfast. I didn't deliberate about it overnight or spend the morning deciding whether to tell him. I came downstairs, sat across from him at the breakfast table, put my phone on the surface with Vanessa's message open, and slid it toward him without saying anything. He read it once. He slid the phone back. "Ignore it," he said. "She says she knows things about you," I said. "About all of you." "She knows what she's been told or what she's guessed." He picked up his coffee.
