Greatest challenge as a teenager

256 Words
Some different challenges I have experienced, seen or adults think they “discreetly” tell us not to do is adults automatically think were going to be disrespectful, lie, do drugs or alcohol or something along those lines,  or how they think we have no problems and are just being dramatic about things.      Also, the fact they think that just because someones older than us they instantly deserve respect, rather than with respect you have to earn in it, not that I’m saying that I’m going to be disrespectful to every adult i meet I’m just saying that if they don’t give us respect, which most adults don’t, I’m just not going to give them the level of respect they want, I’m going to give them the same amount of respect they’re giving me.         The fact that when we try to defend ourselves in arguments its automatically seen as talking back, if they accuse us of doing something and they don’t have any evidence or proof they just get mad like I’m not going to let someone accuse me of doing something I didn’t do especially when they don’t have evidence, or if they ask u if you did something and they don’t get the answer they personally want, were “making excuses”. Like no I’m defending myself. if we accused them of doing something they would blow us off, get mad at us, or once again seeing it as being disrespectful. The fact its petty stuff they get mad about is so childish. Adults contraindicate a lot of things.
