Antonio’s Pov: I stood at the bath door waiting for her to clean up. I heard her sniffle. That girl, Alessia, she looked so innocent, so vulnerable. I couldn't shake off the feeling that she was telling the truth - that Macino had blackmailed her into spying on me. But I'm a mafia boss. I can't trust anyone, no matter how innocent they look. I've seen it before - the sweet, innocent face, the lying words. I couldn't let my guard down. So what do I do? I could kill her, like I would normally do to any other spy. But something about her... I don't know, maybe it's those big brown eyes... I just can't bring myself to do it. I'll keep her close, for now. I heard the bathwater turn off, and I knew Alessia would be coming out soon. She was still crying. I handed her a towel. "Hey, don’t cry.” She’s not the first person I’ve terrified, but she’s the first female I feel sorry for scaring. She was trying to stifle her sobs. I pulled her close. Her skin was so soft. She felt small, sweet, and vulnerable. Something shifted inside of me. I'd seen plenty of gorgeous women before, f****d a lot too. But there was something about her that captivated me. A dark feeling crept in. I wanted to own her, to control her. I wanted to break her down and put her back together again, just so she'd be mine. I was willing to do whatever it took to make her mine. Every bit of power I had. Even if it meant forcing her I'd make her want me, need me. And once I had her, I'd never let her go. “It’s okay,” I said making her tremble, her body shaking with sobs. “Did I hurt you?” She shakes her head. “Are you okay?” I asked again, this time raising her face to look up at me. She was so beautiful, with brown eyes and thick eyelashes. Her lips were a pale pink color, like rose petals. Her hair was a rich, dark brown color that fell in soft waves down her back. There was just something about her—something special—that I couldn’t place my hands on yet. I held her close. Silence filled the room as I thought of many things I could do to her. I thought of taking her to my bed. My c**k went rock hard. I wanted to keep her around me. “Excuse me, I have to go,” she said, trying to free herself from my grip. "No,” I said in a tone that came out sharper than I expected. She flinched. Fear returned to her eyes. “f**k,” I muttered. “You can’t leave now. I still want to know why you’re here, who you are, and what you are doing here.” I said firmly. “My name is Alessia Rossi. I was working as a waitress at a coffee shop before I met Macino. I started work here as part of the housekeeping team two weeks ago. Macino blackmailed me into this and said if I didn’t do it he would kill my mother and I”. “I still don’t understand”. I said, this time moving close to her. I felt like having her in my arms again. Or in my bed. “I lost my dad two months ago to a car accident . We were left with nothing. I had no choice but to do it. He said if I don’t do it he would kill my mother and I”. She said sobbing heavily. A part of me wanted to take her to bed and make passionate love to her. Focus Antonio "Fine, you can leave.” Did I just ask a spy to leave. What’s wrong with me? ******************************************************* Alessia’s POV "Fine, you can leave.”. What? Did he just asked me to leave? I breathed a sigh of relief and quickly wore my dress with shaking hands. I wanted to leave as fast as I could before he changed his mind. I picked up my supplies and grabbed the door knob. I wanted to leave the suite, the club at that moment, and maybe even New York City. I wanted to get away as fast as possible. I needed to get out of New York City, away from the club and the dangerous mafias. “Stop” I froze, my heart racing. “Max will take you home”. He pressed a button and the huge guy I had seen earlier walked in. No. Hell no There’s no way I’m getting in a car with this huge man. What if he tried to kill me. What if Antonio’s didn’t have the heart to kill me. So this huge guy would be the one to do it. He might kill me and dump my body in My heart raced as I gazed up at Max's imposing figure and stern expression. “Hey”. Antonio must have seen that my face had gone pale. “You will get home safely. I’ll make sure of that”. “Thank you but I’ll just take the bus ” I said “You’re not taking the bus, Max will take you home and that’s final” he said firmly. “I want to see you at work tomorrow”. He said and left. I walk to the door with shaky legs. Max takes me to another elevator. He uses he keycard to get into. We arrived at what appears to be a private parking area.I looked around the parking lot the other cars there. Limos,Ferraris,Bentleys, Wow. Just wow He leads me to a limousine, opens the backdoor and ushers me in. He got to the driver’s seat and starts driving. “Are you okay?” Huh did this huge man just ask me that? “I'm fine." "Okay”. We continued driving in silence. He didn’t ask me for my address. But drove straight to my house. I felt a shiver run down my spine - how did he know where I lived?. These mafias and their men were really dangerous people As soon as the car stopped, I quickly got out and ran to my door. I didn’t stop until I got to my door, I breathed a sigh of relief as I watched him drive away. My knees felt weak and shaky. I. My hand trembled as I turned the door knob and opened the door. I stepped inside, feeling a wave of relief was over me. I closed the door behind me and leaned against it, trying to catch my breath. Finally the long scary day was over. I would never go back there. But they know where I lived. They could show up here at any time. “Mama”. I called out. She should be in her room.
