Chapter 7

When Alex came in the afternoon, he pulled Debbie into a big bear hug. He then drove her to an hotel building owned by a friend of the Torres family, Mystique Roses. They went in and dropped their back with a waitress.

They went through the building to the back where a huge amusement park was filled with people. Debbie couldn't close her mouth as she stared at the whole thing.

Alex chuckled "You could see it from the front of the hotel". Debbie nodded in a daze "Yeah, but it looked distant. Why are we here in the first place?" Alex held her hand as they walked "For your after birthday celebration. We're staying overnight at the hotel and Felix will join us there".

Debbie brightened up "Really, I thought he won't be coming back until late evening?" Alex stopped and turn to her "True, until you gave us that surprise".

Debbie turned red "Y-y-you saw it?" Alex chuckled "Of course we did, you tagged us. Felix cried when he saw the video". Debbie's ears burned red as she lowered her head "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make him sad".

Felix walked into the amusement park and sighted his siblings "Why the long face? It's time to par-r-t-y-y!" Debbie collides with him in a hug "Fel, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry".

Felix squatted "It's okay. Cries of joy. Now stop crying and let's go play". He wiped her tears and kissed her cheeks. She sniffled and looked up at him but stumbled.

Alex caught her as she swayed "Are you alright?" She nodded "Yeah, just a little dizzy but I'm fine". Felix walked away and came back with three sticks of cotton candy. "Cotton candy for her highness and her servant".

Alex eyes narrowed at Felix words "So I'm her servant now?" Felix grinned with a nod. Alex sighed "I can't deal with you right now".

They played around for a while. Debbie won her brothers pendants and snacks, while they got her stuffed animals. After a while, Debbie was getting really dizzy and her stomach started to hurt, so her brother brought her back to the hotel fir dinner.

Alex ordered Debbie's favourite food which he learnt from Philip but Debbie could not even bring herself to look at the food.

She whimpered and placed her head on the table. Alex was worried and immediately called their family doctor who lived near the hotel.

"Princess, are you alright?" Felix asked but Debbie didn't reply him. She felt really dizzy and felt a clog in her throat. She stood up to walk to the bathroom but she felt nauseous. She suddenly coughed up blood and collapsed but Alex caught her before she could reach the floor.

They rushed her to the hospital immediately. "Debs, please stay with me" Felix whispered as fear filled him.

When they arrived, Flynn Onward- the family doctor attended to her. He made sure she was stable before returning to the brothers.

"How is she?" Felix rasped between tears. Flynn smiled "Miss Torres will be fine. She had suffered from malnutrition. The sudden rush of nutrients triggered ulcer but she'll be okay. You might need to reduce her intake of lactose substance and avoid solid food for a while". Alex and Felix both sighed in relief.
