{A/N: So yeah, I released the first chapter. God, I feel so stressed out. Biology and Physics classes are really fuckin me up. Please bear with the slow upload} Debbie sat in her room reading a novel. It became a hobby to read novels since her mom started to treat her badly. Her father was back from his business trips "Lucille, where is Debbie, why isn't she joining us for dinner again?" Rainbow rolled her eyes while scrolling through her phone "She's not hungry". Philips dropped his cutlery "And you are hungry?" Rainbow glanced at her dad with her usual 'i don't care' looks. Philips stood up with his food and walked into the kitchen ignoring Lucille's rants. He served another plate and left and left towards Debbie's room. Debbie was glad to have him with her. He was the only one who cared apart from her best friends. Plus, his presence means she gets real food and not dollar bills. Usually she's happy to eat with her dad but today was different. She seemed dull and distracted. "Princess, is something wrong?" Philips asked. Debbie managed a smile "No dad, I'm good". They ate and chatted. Debbie got a full gist of his trip and even presents that Philips had secretly kept for her. Debbie also told him about school but left out the parts where Lucille and Rainbow were mean to her. Whenever he asked how she was treated, she just replied with "We coped fine". While everyone was asleep, Debbie couldn't sleep. She made sure everyone was asleep before sneaking into her parents study. Right on top of her father's table was a big file with her name boldly written on it. "How have I never seen this before?" She whispered to herself. As he opened the file, her breath caught. Her certificate. 'On this day 15th of July 20**, Philips Norris and Lucille Norris adopt Debbie Lyrah Torres as their daughter' "I... I was truly adopted". Debbie shoved the certificate back in the file with trembling hands. Her heart thudded as she walked back to her small room. The next day, she woke up very early, didn't cook or do any chores. Just dressed for school and left without informing anyone. Instead of the Normal route to the school, she took a long route. When she got to school, everyone was out in front of the school building. Rachel and Faith ran to her. "Deb, what's wrong?" You look pale". Debbie shook her head "I'm good. What's going on?" Faith bit her lips "The Torres brothers are looking for their sister. Every school in town has been checked except ours and they'll be here soon". Rainbow's voice echoed through the school. She put on a mini flare gown with white stockings and white sandals. Her long blonde hair was packed in two ponytails with flower hair bonds. "Of course, I'm the adopted one. I've seen my adopting papers. Henceforth, call me Rainbow Lucy Torres. Ah ah ah". Two black jeeps drove into the school compound. A strict looking guy with black hair came out of the first jeep. He was dressed formally and his presence was enough to send shivers up the spine of everyone around. Another young man came out of the second jeep. He was dressed in a cool beach shirt, deep blue jeans and a white pair of converses. Isabella moved close to Rainbow "If you're their sister, permission to marry one of them". Grace snorted as Rainbow walked up to them."Master Torres, welcome to Springstar High school". The gentle one smiled at her "Thanks. You must be Mr Norris daughter, I can see the resemblance". Students began to murmur. Rachel chuckled aloud "Thought adopted children don't resemble their foster parents". Rainbow gritted her teeth as she walked up to them "You paupers have no right to talk when the wealthy ones are talking". She raised her hand to slap Rachel but Debbie held it. "Touch her and I'll show you hell on earth". Rainbow clicked her tongue in frustration before dropping her hand. The gentle guy walked up to them "You are?" Debbie lowered her head slightly in respect "Debbie Norris. You must be Young Master Felix and I'm guessing your brother's name is..." "Alexander" Felix answered her. Debbie tilted her head curiously at Alexander. "He looks like a Jason to me". Alexander walked up to them and knelt in front of her "Jason is my third name and I'm guessing yours is Lyrah". Debbie smiled "How did you know? Dad never told me the meaning though". Alexander patted the sapphire pendant on his neck. Felix seemed to be wearing one too. "Our sister is bearing Debbie and also has a third name Lyrah. It means the North star constellation". Rainbow stepped between them "Master Alexander, you're joking. There's no way a poor and useless nobody like her could be your sister".
