Chapter 4

Sun came shinning in threw my window light right in my eyes and warming up my skin , and I have a banging sore head and then it hit me what had happened last night but how did I even manage to get home to my bed and what happened to Eric and Mike did they end up fighting , oh my bloody head hurt to even think about it all but I need to know what happened after I got brought home I hope there ok , a knock at my room door “come in” I frowned it was Sophie with a glass of water and painkillers “how are you feeling this morning how’s the head sis” she mocked as she handed me the glass and tablets “feels like I got hit by a bus last night it’s still so sore especially when I move” I sat up slow “yeah anyway so who is that new hottie that attacked my boyfriend last night and then brought you home like some big hero dam you are so lucky mum wasn’t home last night she was at some charity night for her friend after her work meeting ended early she didn’t get back till like 2am but you were in bed for like 11pm hahaha not what was supposed to happen but yeah all good hahaha” she slumped down on my bed and I clicked to what she had said “wait just a minute did you just say that magic Mike that dumb s**t for brains is now your boyfriend” oh please tell me I imagined that that creep was only just asking me out last night now he’s got my sister I see the smile spread over her face “yeah last night he finally asked me before he disappeared for a while then I found out he was out back with you and your new friend mr hottie oh and stop calling Mike names eh try being nice to him you will be seeing a lot more of him around here ok , but I had to leave the party early didn’t I to come home with you so now so I’ll what happened last night” huh now is so not the time to warn her off Mike she will only start a fight with me over it and my head can’t handle it and I’m in no mood for it I take a sip of the water and take the painkillers she gave me and drink the rest of the water “well his name is Eric he just moved in next door to Mike and seen me sitting alone out back he popped over to say hi and then Mike been drunk and loud started a fight like usual over nothing and that’s all I remember as you know the rest I should do slap your boyfriend for that one by the way” and I point to my head “don’t you dare hit him gosh you really do hate him don’t you I mean haven’t you hit him to many times already over the years, yeah well the new guy is hot and he’s so into you I had to practically drag him out of this house last night away from you he wanted to stay till you woke up make sure you were ok but I didn’t even know who he was and wasn’t about to let him stay in my house with my sister no matter how hot he is for that matter” great so now I feel bad I ruined a few peoples night last night and made people worry and yeah I think I may have hit Mike a few times to many over the years but he deserved every hit the creep she is just pissed off at me for taking her away from the party but again not my fault it’s her boyfriends fault but at least she didn’t spend it with him wich made me happy he is only ever interest d in one thing the creep as for Eric I guess that was kind of sweet of him I will need to go over at some point and thank him but first I need to call Jane make sure she is ok I grab my mobile from my unit next to my bed Sophie left me to it and I dial Janes number “hello” she answers all groggy “hay did I wake you” I wonder if she is hungover “eh yeah I think so s**t were is it were is it” oh no somethings wrong I can tell with her voice “I kind of met this new guy last night he just moved in next door to Mike he’s real hot and somehow I managed to sleep with him and I’m currently looking for all my things as quietly as I can and get out of here before he sees me , got it yes Carrie open your front door I’m coming over” she hangs up I was amazed at her sleeping with a guy in the first place it just isn’t her it’s not her thing it’s weird and second I hope it’s not Eric oh no I toss my hair up in a messy bun shove on my hoody and run down to open the front door she came bolting in threw the door and closing it behind her going straight to the kitchen yeah I felt a little deflated at the thought of Jane sleeping with Eric but again I can’t say anything can I as I didn’t really know him or anything about him really and I only met him the once but something inside me tells me different I give my self a shake follow Jane into the kitchen. Sophie brings in some Starbucks lattes and hands them to me and Jane “looks like you both need these and I new to by both as your always here Jane” Sophie winks at Jane then dashed out waving at us as she left Jane rose her brows shaking her head “don’t ask I feel sick as it is and I’m so bloody warm wanna go out sit on the porch swing” I ask her “sure but if that dude comes out I’m running back inside so don’t lock the door or close it right over oh and grab me a jumper eh it’s not that warm for me out there feeling a tad ruff
