Chapter Fifty Six

1134 Words

Luciano was at the Grand Meridian attending a business meeting. When it ended and he prepared to leave for his next appointment, his gaze caught a familiar figure crossing the marble floor. Rosa. Something cold and ugly twisted in his chest. His jaw clenched. What the hell is she doing here? She wasn’t supposed to be meeting anyone—he had made that very clear. She was his for two weeks. Period. No other men. No filthy escort jobs. No lies. But there she was, walking into a five-star hotel alone. Suspicion burned through his veins. Silently, he followed her. From the corner of the hallway, he watched her knock on the door of a VIP suite. A young man opened it, and Rosa stepped inside. The door closed. Luciano’s blood boiled. Rage and betrayal collided inside him. She’s doing it again.
