At last, I had a home. I spent my savings on a complete dowry set, taking care of all the kitchen necessities at once. I also bought quilts, blankets, and winter clothes—the cold here was nothing like the cold in Afyon. Mihri and Mert accompanied me shopping, and we went to the city center together. We borrowed his grandfather's car for the weekend outing. Only grocery shopping remained. After dropping off our purchases, we headed to the market for food and cleaning supplies.
I stored everything we bought in the empty room and went out to dinner with the young ones. We visited a famous local restaurant known for its beautiful view. When Mert had access to the car, the twins would always come here. Since they'd been taking care of me today, I wanted to treat them to dinner.
