CHAPTER 43
Xavier looks in the mirror as he adjusts his tie and his tuxedo. He is getting ready for what could possibly be the most important day of his life as a business man.
He is unsure of how Mr. Morgan will react once they set eyes on each other once more and what’s more, he feels worried for Aria as he is unsure of how her father will react to seeing her the way she is at the moment.
“This is the time to have everything you have worked hard for. Don’t let it slip,” he whispers to himself.
There’s a gentle tap on his door. He is not expecting any visitor so early in the day and is shocked to have one.
“Who is it?” Xavier’s voice echoes across his room.
“It’s Sammie, Mr. Cruz. The car is ready and Miss. Morgan is here,” Sammie responds.
Xavier smiles at his declaration.
