AustinPOV
I held Jes on my arms. We were currently lying on the bed, her on top of me. She was biting her lips, showing her nervous she was to talk about her past. Even though she was nervous which is why she was bitting her lips, I wanted to kiss her. Her limiting her lips is such turn on.
"Austin, I don't know where to start," she sighed.
"Tell me from the begining, Jes," I said as I tugged her hair behind her ear.
"So, Um . . . Okay, let's start about the family," she said as I nodded. "Austin, my parents are Carabians."
"So, you are Carabians too?" I asked her.
She nodded. "My family lives in Saint Martin and my dad is a billionaire. My dad owns a very huge resort which is our home and trust me, the to resort is so big that more that 100 families live in that resort and our house is as big as castle. But, those 100 families, most of the families of those are my cousin's families. My mom and dad have a very large families. There are also a tons of bodyguards in the resort who also lives in the he same resort. We are rich and we have so much technology but, the only problem is that our families don't want girls."
"What?" I asked her. "Jes, this is 21st century and you are telling me that your families are still like ancient people who believes that male power is everything?"
"Don't insult my family, Austin. It is not only our family. In fact, a lot of countries still in the world believes that male are superior than woman," she said.
I sighed. "Go on with the story."
"Um . . . So, yeah, like I said. Our family, well atleast dad thinks that women are inferior than men. Austin, from a long time, our family's first son has always inherit the property. Dad also wanted a heir for his property and that's where the problem was."
"Problem? Jes, you are your dad's daughter so of course you are the heir of his property. What is the problem with that?" I asked Jes in confusion.
"Austin, you don't understand. Dad never wanted a female heir," she said.
I was stunned. What does Jes mean by that? Don't tell me her dad disowned her just because she is an woman.
"Austin, my mom is a simple woman. She grew up in California. She believes that male and female are equal but dad doesn't be that. But still, my parents fell in love and got married. I have to say that my parents really love eachother.
However, mom never knew that dad always wanted a son. So, my mom got pregnent and gave birth to my sister, Teresa. When my mom gave birth to Teresa, she was so happy but dad, he was hurt. My dad never wanted a daughter to be the heir of all his property because he thought that woman are weak. But still, mom made him understand that it wasn't Teresa's fault that she is a woman. Dad was a bit disappointed but he still loved Teresa, but he still wanted to have another baby, hoping that the next baby will be a boy," she said.
