The celebration was perfect. The pack was all excited about the heir. I am glad that I have not seen Elaina. I see Thomas chatting with friends, laughing and smiling. I am glad he is having fun. I felt bad using him the day I arrived. He is a good man. He will make a good father.
I felt an arm going around my waist, and I looked up, smiling at my mate. He stayed by my side as we mingled with the pack. I felt as if I was floating on a cloud. I was so happy that Liam is becoming the mate I always desired. He kept catering to my needs and, now and again, would rub my belly where our pup was growing. He looked so proud that it warmed my heart.
Towards the end of the night, a commotion on the other side caught everyone's attention.
