Each step Snow took was like a long walk to freedom; it was the longest walk she had ever taken. Suddenly, the walk to the elevator became longer with each step she took. She couldn't tell if it was because she was walking slowly or if it had always been like that. Her heart was racing fast, and it was almost as if she was going to have a heart attack.
