The smell of grilling meat hits me before I even reach the pack commons. My stomach growls—apparently getting thrown around a training platform all week works up an appetite—and I follow the scent like a beacon. The commons are behind the main pack house, a sprawling green space with picnic tables, fire pits, and what looks like half the pack milling around with plates and drinks. I should've stayed in my room. "Ivory!" Nadia's voice cuts through my internal panic. She's waving me over from one of the grills, her light hair pulled back in a high ponytail. "Get over here before Jaxon burns all the burgers." "I'm not burning them, I'm searing them," a male voice protests. I make my way over, hyperaware of the eyes tracking my movement. The new girl. The one who showed up out of nowhere
