Chapter 25 Rava waking up was only the beginning. Calvin helped Gillen tie a sturdy rope around what was left of her middle arm, doing his best not to look at the jagged remains of dark blue flesh. All he could do for Leeka was wrap a bright white bandage around the cruel, deep gouges around his thigh and calf on one leg. Once he was certain the two of them were hobbling toward Marine Medical, Calvin took the huge comms, each big enough to fit around his waist. He ran as fast he could manage on exhausted legs toward Bel’s tank. He splashed through the quarantine pool in front of the tank farm entrance before stopping cold. If he charged inside without cleaning himself or the comms clutched in his hands, Calvin could bring the disease that trapped Rava at the bottom of the bay with him.
