Chapter Seventeen Willemstad, Curaçao, Dutch Antilles Felicia opened her eyes. Her vision was clear but her mind was not. She was lying on a soft bed in a compact, but luxurious, room. She sat up, her heart racing. Where was she? Felicia steadied herself, took a deep breath and willed her pulse to stop racing. Placing her feet on the floor, she felt a steady vibration coming from beneath her. She took stock of her surroundings.
