CHAPTER 7
I go back to the cell where Arthur Carton is incarcerated hoping to find answers. But, all I find is an empty cell.
“The man died in his cell Storyteller and he had a horrible death,” said the overweight Prison officer called Victor Smith.
“How did he die and why isn’t there any body here?” asked the Storyteller.
“It seemed that the walls of his cell came alive and the snakes from the drawings on the wall came alive and entered into the body of the man. He liquefied before my eyes, as he screamed in pain, as his life force was sapped from him.”
