Everyone was left in awe with instructor Edward’s response.

[He did! What the hell?! Is he really going to teach that nerd?!] Thomas thought as he started to break some sweat.

[No way! He accepted it just that? Or maybe he could not handle the pressure alone and want to share it with someone else. Instructor Edward, you are an angel!] he thought as he sees Instructor Edward in sparkly noble image in his head.

“I will not fail you, Sir. I will do my best to absorb everything that you will teach me and put it to heart.” The student with the glasses said as he kneel down in front of instructor Edward.

“Yes, I will be expecting a lot of things from you.” Instructor Edward replied with an awkward smile.

“It’s unacceptable, I know that Kris is still a kid, but to get away from doing something like that with a light punishment is for.” Gilbert said with an angry face.

The family heads walk out of the room with unsatisfied expressions.

*Sigh*

“I knew that they will not be satisfied by something like that, especially the family head of the Eran family. They are quite attached to the Arcan for generations.” Elder Rigor said as he sigh in relief. “Please do not make any mess like this ever again Elder Yasrat.” He added as he turns his head towards the elder beside him.

“Facing the family heads is quite tiring, all of them are the powerhouse of each respective families, and the auras they produce are extraordinary. To think that the current students are going to be like that in the future make me want to see it for myself.” Elder Nuu said as he sat comfortably in his chair. [I was so tense when the family heads are here, thank goodness nothing bad happened when with the heated argument earlier.] he thought as he moves his gaze towards the other elders.

“Yes Elder Rigor, I will advise the men under me as well to be more careful in the future.” Elder Yasrat promised with a nervous tone. [I almost blew it up earlier, the Eran and Arcan are both very dangerous. The Eran family head is very hostile in plain sight, while the Arcan family head is calm always wear that creepy smile the whole time. I am sure he is hiding his anger under that creepy smile of his, he is too calm for someone who supposed to be the father of the victim. Is that the result of the joy of finally having the holy sword Ascalon back to his family? No- that surely can be the case, he had always been like that in the past as well. I can really read what that guy is thinking.] Elder Yasrat thought as he bows his head.

“Achooo! That’s a surprise, I don’t feel anything weird.” Gilbert said as he wipes his nose.

“Achooo! Someone is definitely talking behind my back.” Rowan claims as he turns his head.

“That’s pretty surprising for the both of you to sneeze at the same time. Did you do anything bad recently?” Blake Lenus said with a smiling face. “We are heading to the testing grounds right? My son, Kai said that he saw someone interesting and he is in Cassiopeia’s class as well. How lucky can I be? Did I just use my lifetime’s worth of luck?” he added with a smile.

[And that elf, the head of the Lenus family. His friendliness is very unbecoming for someone from the demi-human race. He is definitely one of the most suspicious in all of them.] Elder Yasrat added.

“Achoo! Oh my, is there a flu wondering around?” Blake Lenus said as he covers his nose with a hanky.

The family heads are walking towards the test grounds to see the development of the students and to scout for the students that piques their interests.

[Those two become insanely quiet after we left the meeting room, Kamir looks really down right now. The anger towards his son is directed at him. He may look really tough and a hard person to handle but the guy is really a softie. He is also a very sensitive person, he always loses his self-confidence whenever he gets pinned down by the comments against him.] Rowan thought as he gaze at the other family heads.

“I can’t wait to see the person my son is referring to. I think there are many interesting students this time.” Blake Lenus said with a jolly tone as he put his arms on both Rowan and Gilbert’s shoulders.

“Neon and Rajak, why are you so silent. You guys even influenced Kamir with your gloomy faces, look at what you have done to our friend here.” he said as he puts his arm on Kamir’s shoulder.

“I am really sorry for what happened.” Kamir said with a sad voice. “Stop with that non-stop apologizing, Kamir. Rowan already said with it was okay. Am I right Rowan?” he said as he freely walks around the other family heads.

[I can’t believe this carefree guy is the strongest person in the kingdom. If anyone saw him acting like that, they might think of him as if he had gone crazy. Not many knows this side of him beside his family. He even beat Rowan for his carefreeness.] Gilbert thought as he stare blankly at the elf that is walking back and forth trying to entertain the other family heads.

[I pity his family, for them to be dealing with someone like him every time. I bet they have quite the headache with his unreasonably absurd rules. It’s quite the miracle that his son can manage being his company with that kind of behavior.] Neon Quas thought as he stare coldly at Blake Lenus.

*Wooooooh!*

The family heads are walking near the test grounds when they heard the cheers of the students.

“Wow, it looks like its lively here.” Blake Lenus said with a joyful voice. “Now, now. Blake. Please think more of your image. You should think about what will happen if you show that side of you to the students. Maybe that is the reason why the other family heads with us are a little bit on the edge.” Rowan said as he tries to convince the elf while glancing and flashing a smile at the others.

“Woah! You really are good at thing like these Rowan. Then I shall follow what this gentleman is suggesting.” He said with his eyes glittering in Rowan’s suggestion.

[Wow he instantly made that gullible elf follow his suggestion, that’s Rowan for you.] the other family heads stood in shock after seeing the elf following Rowan’s suggestion.

Gilbert and Neon shook their head in disappointment while the other two look at Rowan with admiration.

They were about to enter the test grounds when they suddenly switch to their serious mode.

Rajak and Neon glance at Blake if he really did what Rowan suggested a few moments ago and to their surprise Blake is more elegant if he is serious.

[It suits him well to be like that. I wish he is more like that than what he acts earlier.] they both thought as the scene when Blake is acting like child plays in their head.

“There are surprisingly a lot of students here.” Neon said as they saw the students in their respective classes.

The other family heads continues to walk except for Blake Lenus. “That purple head kid, is he the one that my son is talking about?”

[Short flashback]

“Father, you remember the guy that I told you a few days ago? The one who pulled off an ancient sword stance? Turns out he is in the same class as Cassiopeia.” Kai said with a smile.

“Are you sure that he pulled off an ancient sword stance? What kind of stance was it?” he replied while reading the reports of his assistant.

“It was- there is no fun if I tell you about it right? Why don’t you see it for yourself?” Kai said as he tease his father.

“We are bound to visit the academy in the future, how can I tell if he is the one if you don’t even tell what is his characteristics.” He said as he stopped reading the reports.

“You will know when you see him. He stand out after all.” Kai said as he wave his hand while walking out of the room.

[Back to the present time]

[I know he said that he stands out but I did not expect him to stand out in that aspect.] he thought as he stare at Raven’s stance.

[He used that form in our duel. I remember that moment really well, his stance and the look in his face. He looks really irritate at that time.] Thomas thought as he cross his arms.

“Whoa is that the stance that Raven took when he and Thomas had a duel?” one of his friends said.
