AUDREY'S POV
"Hey, Honey," I greeted Daniel, who was sitting at the couch, as soon as I entered the house. I walked towards him and gave him a peck on the lips.
"It's late, where have you been, hon?" He asked, his tone was serious, but not mad.
I stopped on my tracks, and looked back at him, contemplating whether I have to tell him what I discovered today, or should I just keep it to myself for now.
I smiled at him, and told him half the truth.
"I met up with Chanel and had some catching up with her. I didn't realize it was already late. Have you eaten dinner?" I asked him, trying to change the topic.
He just nodded at me and said, "I see. Yes, we already did, hon."
"Oh, okay. I'll just go upstairs and check on Xandro," I said and headed upstairs.
