We heard the doorbell ring so we both got up. Since i was taller i looked in the Peephole for Quan. I didnt see anyone. I opened it to see a toddler sleep in a stroller with a note on her chest. It read: We Can't Afford To Keep Her. Can You Pls Take Her In? Thanks. -Khalil & Barbara

"What the hell?" Was all i could say.

"She was beaten by her parents because they couldnt provide for her needs obviously. She told us that she was asleep and when she woke up you guys found her at your doorstep." The old lady explained. We called cps so they came to get her and to talk to us.

"Im going to call my friend over here so we can discuss a few things." I said before she nodded. I looked at Andre and motioned my hand for him to come over.

He walked over there and said "Wassup".

"The little girl that was left on your doorstep has been abused physically. Would you like to do whatever it take to keep her and to make sure she has a stable home where she gets treated like a princess? It requires a little paperwork, visits from cps and more. It sounds like a lot but it kinda looks like she is attached to you guys already." The lady asked. 

"ummm." He said. "We are just turning 18 ma'am"

"You can. She doesnt have a family and look how she is smiling at you". The lady said pointing to her through the glass window.

"I think we can take her as ours.." He said. The lady smiled really hard and walked away to get the paperwork. 

We signed lots of paper work to keep the little girl. But we did it all for her. I was super excited. We were done and we were walking to the room she was in.

"So her name is Armani. She loves to cuddle and she is 3 years old" The lady smiled.

"Thank you" Andre smiled.

"No problem , i will bring some items for her" Lady said.

"Alright".

She brought the little girl to us and she can running to hug us. She only had one outfit and one little toy in their backpack.

"Hello, I'm Armani. My Mommy and her boyfriend say that i go to the park but i went to your house." She smiled.

"Well nice to meet you. Im Daquan. And this is Dre" I said pointing to Dre.

"Ok. Are we going bye bye?" She asks with a cute confused face.

"Yeah. Let's go." I said putting her on my neck.

"Look, I'm a monkey." She laughed.

We left the adopting place and drove right to walmart. We bought a carseat, some more food,drinks, lots of clothes, a toddler bed, and shower supplies. It was 1opm by the time we left. 

"I'm sleepy" Armani rubbing her eyes.

"We are going home and me and dre are gonna put your room together." Andre said.

"Kay" She said rubbing her eyes.

We went home and me and dre was putting Armani' s room together. She was on our bed sleep while we worked. My life cant get any better.

"We are finally done. We are just Rommates remember." Andre smirked.

"Yeah I Know, let's just go to sleep now" He said.

"Okay."

"Alright. Goodnight"

We went into our room and put Armani in the middle of us. We all eventually was sleep on the bed.
